This product works very well.

This is just plain ol' Psyllium for general support for the digestive system.. The only other ingredients are those that keep the ingredients from clumping. It helps by keeping you regular and is best taken with a big glass of water. These are capsules and the suggested dosage is 3 capsules 1-2 x a day. In the past psyllium was always a powder. Capsules make it easier to travel with. The capsules are average size, not small not large. For me taking 3 a day plus the others I take are pretty hard on my stomach. I have been opening the capsules and putting the contents in a glass of water. Thats' just my preference. But either way it works for me without any issues. What I consider a negative is the complete lack of transparency about this brand Nature's Peak. I see absolutely no information about them online. The page here states that the ingredients are non GMO, 3rd party lab tested, manufactured following cGMP guidelines. My question is who is this brand, who is responsible for this brand, are they manufactured in the USA? Where are the ingredients sourced, are they organic? etcetc. There are so many brands out there with the same ingredients. What makes Natures peak a better buy? Two dollars cheaper is not enough to make me trust a product that goes in my body. This knowledge is important to me as it tells me if this brand, Natures Peak, is trustworthy.

My February 2024 order of Natures Peak Plant Based Psyllium Fiber 1500mg 120 Capsules arrived in a dark plastic bottle with intact shrink wrap around the lid as well as an intact consumer protection seal under the lid. [Adequate consumer protection is very important to me for anything Im going to consume, so Im glad Natures Peak has done an excellent job here. Wish more companies followed their lead.] The bottom of the bottle has a Best Use Date of October 4 2026, and the label states Sourced from a GMP certified facility but does not mention any specific location or country. The Natures Peak website does not help with location because this specific product is not even on their website. The companys address is in Utah. These capsules are 3/4 of an inch long, so easy enough to swallow. The label states a Serving Size of 3 capsules, but also mentions that 3 capsules may be taken one or twice a day (occasional use). Depending on your needs, these 120 capsules may not last as long as you would imagine. I dont take fiber supplements every day, but rather take them when my regular diet falls short on fiber. These Natures Peak fiber capsules have worked as well for me as other supplements I have used in the past, so all good there. As far as cost, it appears this supplement is more expensive than standard store brand fiber supplements available at my grocery stores and supercenters.
