Our 2 dogs enjoy fetching these from the water. Very strong material that they can't chew through.

I have a dog that's not particularly toy driven but she seems to like these. Size? Texture? Firmness? I don't know but she really enjoys when we play with these. They're not designed as a chew toy to let them just have at it at their pleasure so I doubt they would last very long if you did do that, they are pretty durable for the fetching game. So far only mild indentations from the teeth, no actual damage or pieces coming off. The long rope handle makes it easy to grab and do some tugging with her as well as the wind up for the throw. I liked these, and so did she, so much that I got a second set from another company just to compare them. They seem pretty equal in all aspects so from my limited exposure to this sort of toy, this pair seems to stand up to the standard.

Our dogs absolutely love these! They are entertained either in the pool, out of the pool and love to do laps around the deck while in there mouth.

These really are good and our dog loves them. We use them for water retrieving. The one criticism is that they are light - and thus even with the cord - hard to throw as far as a heavier one. Distance is important for us as we try to wear out the dog with swimming retrieving.

I have a golden doodle puppy who was a bit timid about trying new things. I wanted to ease her into water play, so I gave these a try. She loved them at first bite, and was eager to retrieve them from eddies along a slow-moving creek. She would push it down into the water a few inches with her paw so she could put her head down into the water to "rescue" it. The challenge for us was that she would retrieve it, then run away to chew on it a bit. While it is made of super dense foam, she was still able to nibble bits of it with her sharp teeth before we were able to distract her with a different toy. Believe me, it was not easy to find a toy that held more appeal for her than this one, so I try my best to not let her nibble on it so it can last a little longer. Once she gets through her puppy phase and is less likely to chew things up on contact, this will prove to be a wonderful floating fetch toy!
