Pure Advantage Liquid Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin Spray, 1 Ounce...

My Pomeranian is 13 y/o with diabetes. Vitamin B12 works so well to help prevent weakness in his back legs. I just wish I had known about this with my previous pets. It makes a difference almost immediately. Dispensing this is so easy since I just squirt a tad on food and he gobbles it up. I would recommend this to others.

12/2015 Oh my goodness, I have used it for 10 days and I can tell a difference. I do one spay under my tongue in the morning while I am cooking my "Weight Watcher's Simply Filling" breakfast. I have not been sleepy all week and at night I have been falling asleep faster and staying asleep through the night. I just told my sister to get this ASAP and use it on her entire family. It has a slight sweet flavor, but it is so slight, I suppose because it is only one squirt. I squirt under the tongue for better absorption. 4/2016 UPDATE: I am just now purchasing my second bottle, 4 months later, and I use one spray everyday, I NEVER forget. This really works excellent converting my food to energy. I am not tired any more, I sleep very well now, this works so well.

Pleasant tasting, easy to use, much quicker that sublingual tablets (who wants to wait while it dissolves?) Absorbs extremely quickly. I tried this just after getting home from work, tired, within ten minutes I was out like a light! Without adequate levels of Methyl B-12 your body can't efficiently synthesize melatonin. I've recommended this to five different friends who had problems sleeping (two were on Ambien) and four of them had significant improvements in sleeping through the night. The two who were on Ambien aren't anymore! Many people talk about B-12 and energy but it's actions are much more complex than that. Among the areas that Methyl B-12 is an important co-enzyme is circadian rhythm, neuropathy, remyelination, homocysteine recycling, memory and general nerve protection. I had nerve damage just below the knee from an accident 40 years ago, regular doses of B-12 has brought back feeling in this area for the first time in that many years. This didn't happen quickly, I've been taking Methyl B-12 for a few years, when I happened to kneel down on a small object and realized that I felt it! I had read research about B-12's actions on nerves and low and behold it works! The Methyl form is the main active form it's cyano form must be changed into it's methyl form by liver which isn't efficient - only a couple of percent of intake is changed.

I chose this B12 supplement because it is easy to administer to the whole family. It dissolves in the mouth for optimum absorption. Best of all this is the B12 spray with the least amount of ingredients I could find. There is no added sugar, but it tastes just fine. It has a very light sweetness to the taste. It is only 500mcg, another reason why it is good for the whole family. Be aware that it has a red color to it, which is natural and not an added color. But the first time I used it on my daughter, I had no idea it was colored and I thought her mouth was bleeding for a second! Crazy, I know, but I just thought I'd mention that. Does it work? I don't know. I did not experience any jolt of energy. Then again, this is not an ultra high mcg. But, that is not the point. I did not get this as a caffeine substitute. I got this because our family just went on a plant based diet about a month ago and I wanted to make sure we all had this essential vitamin for optimal health. It is very important if you follow a plant based or vegan diet to supplement with B12. Even many meat eaters are deficient in B12. The natural ways to obtain the vitamin do not exist anymore in today's modern society. We are just "too clean", as B12 is made by micro-organisms in the dirt. It used to be found in our water, now we chlorinate that, which is good, because no one is getting cholera. We also wash the heck out of our vegetables, so no dirt along with your carrot. Cows get B12 from the dirt in the grass that they eat. Since going on this plant based diet, along with eliminating artificial colors and preservatives, and limiting greatly, any packaged, processed, or convenience foods, we have seen a HUGE difference. My son who was diagnosed ADHD, is now off all prescription medications! My personal problems with anxiety/panic have virtually gone away. And my husband went from over 200 pounds to the 180's, in just one month, without counting calories, eating as much as he wants. I encourage everyone to consider going on a plant based diet. And when you begin investigating this type of diet, or really "lifestyle", because it's not exactly a diet per say, you will find more videos by other Doctors. My family does plan on having meat and/or animal products, a few times a year. Thanksgiving and Christmas, and possibly birthdays. That would be prudent and a truer definition of "everything in moderation". It is not that I think eating meat is inherently wrong, but it is just really really BAD for you in the amounts it is consumed today, usually breakfast, lunch and dinner for most people. See our bodies were designed to hold onto fats just in case there is a famine in the near future. The problem is There Is NO Famine anymore. Food is in abundance, but our bodies keep storing the Fats anyway, and our waist lines keep getting bigger and bigger. Gosh, I didn't mean for this to turn into a novel! Please research for yourself, especially if you have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease in your family, a child with adhd, add, or autism, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, Severe back pain, or if you've tried every diet out there and keep putting the weight back on.
