I ordered these for my 3 year old twins so we could start working on more complex puzzles. They love these. They'll spend time putting them together then taking them apart again. The designs are really nice, the dinosaurs are cute and cartoony. Would definitely purchase these as gifts for other kids or even other designs for my kids to give them some variety.

For the price I was hoping for better quality. These are pretty cheaply made puzzles, even for being wood. They are thin and feel very fragile. When I was helping my son take the pieces apart (they stuck together quite a bit) I was afraid Id snap them in two. Not the best made wooden puzzles weve encountered.

These wooden puzzles are supposably made for toddlers. But they are pretty rough on the edge with splinters sticking out or falling off. They dont seem to be very kid friendly especially for little ones in this aspect. Also I notice on the under the water theme puzzle there are clown fish, sea horse and turtle from nowadays swimming with the dinosaurs, and they arent from the same era, which might be a bit confusing to kids. And couple boards are bending up on both sides, not staying flat as they were meant to be. Overall they do provide the fun of putting puzzles together for little dinosaur fans, just quality and design could use some improvements.

The set comes with two separate puzzles each in plastic bags. Also included are double-sided posters containing images of the assembled puzzle. One side contains a quarter size version, while the other is a 1:1 size poster. This feature is extremely convenient and helpful, especially for smaller kids, who can match a portion of the poster with a particular puzzle piece. A few of the pieces were bent, suggesting poor or substandard quality control for the product. While none of the pieces were missing and they fit properly in relation to the other pieces, bent pieces nevertheless give the feeling the quality of the product isnt that high. Both puzzles feature whimsical, fantastical themes. One puzzle illustrates two robots, reminiscent of the comic Iron Man or perhaps Transformers, battling together underwater. The other puzzle captures people living in harmony with dinosaurs. Overall, the themes are imaginative and fun. The art is fairly competent if somewhat simple. Both puzzles feature a wide, appealing color palette. At USD $11.99, the puzzle set is very reasonably priced. That the set contains two puzzles makes it an even better value in that it wouldnt be uncommon for one puzzle to be offered at that price. Thus, the set is recommended. The very helpful posters, along with the whimsical, fantastical themes, make the set a great choice as a gift for kids.
