I pleased with the potency & purity aspects of R Alpha Lipoic Acid also affordable of this product. However, I prefer it did not have rice flow agent but this is not but this not major issue not major issue here. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing it!!!

I know Geronova is supposed to be a leading maker of R lipoic acid, and research. But in trying this, i have not so far found it superior to a couple other brands i have been using. Although im less than 30 days into it, im not so sure its any better. I may update this review in two more weeks. I say all this because Geronova is a bit more expensive. So i may go back to what i was using. Ill give it more time before deciding.

I bought this product directly from Geronova for several years after first having taken Alpha Lipoic Acid. It was immediately apparent that the Geronova R-Lipoic Acid is much more potent for equivalent milligrams. It has helped to reduce my migraines more than anything else I have tried. It was recommended by a headache specialist MD. Since Geronova started only selling this through ZeeBooth I've bought it here and not had any problems with the quality. I believe based on my long experience with both Geronova and ZeeBooth that the problems people have had with unsealed bottles etc are most likely due to tampering by someone at the ZeeBooth storage/shipping end of things. I've had such problems with other things I've ordered through ZeeBooth. Just my opinion but BE SURE YOU ARE ORDERING FROM GERONOVA AND NOT ANOTHER VENDOR selling through ZeeBooth since the latter means even more opportunity for bottles to be tampered with or not actually being the genuine product. Yes it's more expensive than Alpha Lipoic Acid, but the research shows that it's up to 40 times more bioavailable. My experience is consistent with this. As for not dissolving as one person stated, R-Lipoic Acid doesn't dissolve in water. I purchased the 100% R-Lipoic Acid powder from Geronova when it was available and it just floated on top of water and would not dissolve. So I don't know what the person making the complaint might have been using before which dissolved. Just guessing it might have been Alpha Lipoic Acid. If you look at published research it indicates that Lipoic Acid and Biotin compete for the same receptors in the body. If you take any form of Lipoic Acid it's best to also take the Biotin (Vitamin B7) but the Biotin should be taken at a different time of day than the Lipoic Acid. The research also indicates that in order to get the highest levels in your brain, you should take the whole dose of Lipoic Acid at once on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before eating anything else. (Don't take it in divided doses throughout the day.) I don't know if that's the most effective dosing schedule for other indications such as peripheral neuropathy. I'd say look at the research.

This product is very helpful in controlling my blood sugar and helping with neuropathy in my feet. I have been taking them for several months now and they really help.
