She is super cute in her raincoat, though other dogs find her suspicious. She still hates going out in the rain but tolerates the wet and the coat for the sake of a walk. Hood is not really usable. Still, she has an easier time going for walks in the coat too. Easy to put on, accurate size chart, very cute raincoat!

**Update** The seam around the neck hem is coming apart and theyve been used less than 10 times.** I have two German shepherds a 70lb adult, Tilion, and a quickly growing 50lb puppy, Caelus. I thought Tilion would resent me for this, but he doesnt mind a bit and realizes that this keeps him dry to go and do his business or even walking/hiking in the rain. Caelus also wears it without issue, although I think he accepts it only because he sees his idol wearing it Caelus doesnt mind the rain at all with or without this slicker. The slicker is very lightweight, which is perfect for shaggy dogs who dont easily get cold (short-haired breeds would probably need a sweater/base layer for warmth). The XL fits my 70lb nicely. Its a little big for my 50lb (if your dog is 40lb-50lb, Id go with the large) but hell grow into 100lbs and I think the Velcro strap is long enough to accommodate his growth. There is Velcro at the head opening, which makes it very easy to put on/take off. Tilion hates to put his head through his harness opening, but this slicker doesnt bother him. They really are waterproof as well we went hiking for about an hour in on and off showers and the boys stayed dry. As far as the hood goes, my boys have radar dish ears, so that hood is never gonna happen, but it does give them neck coverage. Im really pleased with these dogs dont hate them, easy on and off and actually waterproof. A+++
