I have a number of slow feeder bowls for dogs and I switch up bowls for each of my dogs to help slow down their eating and provide some more mental stimulation with different designs that they need to figure out getting the food. This bowl is easy to clean either washing by hand or in the dishwasher and my dog was able to use it easily. I took a picture with 1/4 cup of kibble in it and it took one of my dogs a few minutes to eat the kibble. The bowl has small rubber feet on the bottom that stops it slipping around on the floor while your dog is eating out of it. The bowl fits on the top shelf of the dishwasher however, the underside of the bowl does fill with water and the label on the bowl did come off after the first wash. Bowl can be used for wet or dry food, works great for my medium sized dogs. The bowl isn't so big it takes up all the room in a crate either. It is lightweight plastic so not something you would want to leave in a crate with a dog that will chew it. I was expecting this to be more pastel pink but it seems to be more beige - pink. Not really an issue for me but might be if you are looking for certain colors of bowls and accessories for your dogs. I would definitely get another in a different slow feeder bowl design or shape for more fun at doggy dinner time.

My corgi inhales her food in seconds. So I searched for a slow feeder bowl. When I first started using this, we were still feeding her dry kibble dog food. Using this slow feeder with the kibble only slowed her down by maybe 60-90 seconds. So not a big difference. Fast forward to the new Farmers Dog soft fresh food diet we are now using. I deliberately smoosh the fresh food into the bottom of the bowl, and this works great for slowing her down to about 5+ minutes. This bowl is super easy to clean and indestructible. The only downside is it slides all over any smooth or hardwood floor. So I put it on a kitchen rug and that works great for keeping it in place while our pup goes after every last morsel. Highly recommend!

Bowl does a great job at slowing down my dog during meal time. I also like to use this for treat stimulations. The bowl is super easy to clean and is definitely durable as my dog does have a tendency to chew on the bowl afterwards.

Good quality, made with durable and sturdy materials. Great price and good size, easy to clean, easy to use, no suction on them but they do stay in place.

The media could not be loaded. I have a cat who practically inhales his food and then goes to bother all the other cats as soon as hes done eating. Hes already found the most effective way to eat out of his current slow feeder bowl, and so I wanted to give this one a try to see if it would slow him down a bit more. The bowl itself is very sturdy. Its cute and pink, which I personally like. There are four small grips on the bottom that help keep the bowl in place, which is very important when you have a hungry quadruped frantically trying to access every single crumb of food inside of it. The grooves are very deep and the design doesnt leave much space, which ideally means that your cat or dog cant eat very quickly. However, in my case, my cat has a wide face and cant even get his mouth far enough into the grooves, even at their widest point. While comical, this is a bit of a disappointment. Ill have to attempt to use this for one of my other, much smaller cats, but they are unfortunately not the ones who need to be slowed down while eating. It does say that this bowl is good for both cats and dogs. I imagine a dog could use their tongue to get the food out, and that a much smaller cat or kitten would fare significantly better. I did have two other cats come over to give this bowl their best shot, and as you can see in the video, my fuzzy fur baby figured out that he could use his paw to pull the food to safety. My wide-faced cat, however, is not nearly so entrepreneurial, and so its back to the drawing board for him. Despite this, however, I probably would recommend this bowl to anyone with a small cat, kitten, or dog to try out, as I imagine this could work very well with slowing down their eating, especially with the deep, slim grooves. The bowl feels strong and well-made and is nonslip, so it has all of those things going for it. Just know that if your cat has a wide face, this isnt the bowl for them.
