Great for stencils

I bought this to use with stencils and acrylic paint. It brings a nice texture if you put this down first and then paint over it with your acrylic. It really makes the stenciled Lines pop! Im a big fan of texture in my paintings and this is something I will buy again. its nice that its clear because it doesnt affect the color of the paints that Im using. Ive only used thin layers of it so far, but I havent had any issue with it cracking. Its a great product!

Wish they had a larger size

Definitely met my expectations. Dries transparent!! But for me as an abstract artist who loves textures 3.9 ounces is like a trial size for me. I need a gallon bucket I even wrote the company directly & they wrote me back & let me know this is the only size they have. Bummer.

Love this stuff

Adds a nice sheen to my projects. I decoupage and I add this to make the prints I use to look more like and oil painting. Works well

Thin & watery. Buy the opaque matte paste for depth

Using a stencil, I thought this would give me dimension & depth like the opague matte transfer paste, but it was a mess & only came out looking like I had used the powder & heat gun. Cannot use it for large petals on flowers because it has no firmness & bottoms out with the applicator.

It is shiny when it dries.

Has a nice gloss. Used with stencil. Will be adding pigments to get a translucent color.
