Work great. These have a nice 2800mAh capacity and do the job. Great to have an option to waste less disposables batteries.

This is a pack of 8 rechargeable AA batteries. They arrived partially charged and took about an hour to fully charge to 100%. I used 4 in a digital camera and took a bunch of pictures and videos. The batteries only dropped to about 70% after dozens of pictures, with flash - and several videos being made. So they are good. There were no "duds" in the pack, so they're all in good shape. The packaging is a plastic storage box that holds all 8 batteries. 5 stars because they appear to be very good batteries and great to have on hand if you need AA batteries for various electronics and devices.

We are at the point when no one should be using regular batteries anymore. Rechargeable batteries are $1-$1.50 a piece these days. I still use rechargeable batteries that are 15 years old for low-power devices like wireless mice, etc. These batteries will pay for themselves after just a few recharge cycles. It's a no-brainer. These batteries work just as well as my Eneloop and I see no difference between the two.

The batteries come in a reusable plastic storage box, which is a nice change from the usual shrink-wrap. A user manual is included, a tiny square booklet measuring less than 2 inches on a side. You will need a magnifying glass as the characters are only 2/100 of an inch high! The claimed capacity of 2800 mAh seemed unreasonably high, so I tested all 8 of these batteries on a pair of BT-C2000 V2.2 chargers. I ran three complete charge/discharge cycles on the batteries. The discharge current was 300mA, and the discharge terminated at the standard cut-off voltage of 0.9v. The tested capacity of the cells ranged from 2026 mAh to 2047 mAh, with an average of 2036 mAh. This is about the normal capacity of a low self-discharge AA cell. The capacities were surprisingly consistent, only varying 21mAh from the highest to the lowest.

I ran these batteries through a couple of discharge/recharge cycles which measures how much energy is supplied by the batteries during the discharge after a full charge cycle. According to my battery charger, these have about 2200mAh of capacity which is pretty standard for a AA size Ni-MH battery. My high-capacity Eneloop batteries are rated for 2,400 mAh. When I saw these batteries rated at 2,800 mAh I was a bit skeptical and after testing them out seems like my skepticism was valid. If you're ok with 2200 mAh batteries (which I am) then these batteries will work fine. I am removing one star due the misleading product description, but keeping 4 stars since these batteries do work fine. I do also like the battery case that came with it, which is a nice addition to help keep these organized.
