Worked with my solar lights

Outside around my house is pretty dark with no nearby street lights. So, I have added quite a few solar lights around my driveway, on the gutters on my porch, and along my privacy fence in my backyard. I Va e have them all for a while now and now some of the lights never turn on or don't last very long. I have replaced the batteries in two of my solar lights and they seem good as new. Hopefully these batteries last as long as the original one. If these fail prematurely I will come back and update this review.

For remotes having a couple rechargeable batteries you cant beat. Longevity is great. No problems charging on a universal charger.

These are only 400mah, and usual AAA batteries are between 850 and 1200 mah.

Initial thoughts: These batteries look like standard AAA batteries and feel about the same. Except these say 400mah on them. And 1.2v. I have put some of them in a flashlight that tends to be a battery hog and so far they are doing just fine. The good: Rechargable batteries tend to have a bad name for not lasting long and for being wasteful because they really dont help, but so far these are great. I have only used that flashlight a few times but one of those times I was looking all over the floor for something that dropped and it is still going. The bad: The average AAA battery holds between 850 and 1200 mah of power, and these only hold 400mah. I wish they were stronger but it is probably space needed for circuitry. Final say: These have 1/2 the power of tradional AAA batteries so they will need to charge more often but they will produce less waste because they can be charged off the wall or Solar panels. If you are going to take these camping for headlamps or such, you will probably be disappointed in proformance. But if you have applications wih a lower draw or will probably be satisfied. I cannot stand b these for the usual scouting activities like I use most of this gear for, but we can use them here and there with the expectation that I will need to charge them fairly often. You decide if this fits your need or not.

These batteries charged up well on my Nitecore charger. These batteries did not get hot when charging, and there was no bulging of the casing. These have worked in all of the devices I have tested them in, with no issues.
