I was so tired of not remembering where I put all my remotes in all my rooms, so I decided to buy three of these holders. Best decision ever! They are attractive with many compartments, which allows it to comfortable hold not only my remotes but my cell phones as well!

I actually put my nail polishes and elec nail file in it. Nice!

This DESONAUT remote holder does its job, but don't expect an premium materials for this price. The holder comes fully assembled, but it's comprised of a plastic base with a plastic shell for the top. There are also three plastic dividers inside that provide a total of 4 storage slots. The plastic is of the thin, cheap variety. And while the stuff is all put together when you open it, it's held together in a flimsy way. As long as you are careful with it, it should hold up, though. The bottom of the unit is plastic, and there are four plastic nubs that act as feet. I don't think it will scratch a wooden end table, but I don't totally trust it either. Also, since the nubs are all part of the molded plastic base, they are fairly smooth and don't provide any grip. Apply some sideways force when you remove a remote and it will easily slide the holder on the end table. For those reasons I recommend getting some self-stick silicone feet that you can attach to the bottom to ensure you won't scratch a table and to keep this holder in place. In terms of holding remotes, yeah, it's fine. It holds my Samsung and Sony TV remotes, and the thicker remote from a Xfinity DVR fits in there too. It also works to hold onto a variety of slim video game controllers, like the SNES controller for the Switch as well as some 8bitdo Lite 2 controllers (see picture). Overall, this thing does it's job. If it was any more expensive I would probably drop it to 3-stars, but for the reasonable price, it's a 4-star product.
