This leash works great for my 22 lbs hyper jack russell/lab mutt. He's a puller, but this holds him back well. The trigger to allow or stop reeling is easy to engage or disengage with one hand. This leash is a bit heavier than other retractable leashes I've owned, but it's not uncomfortably heavy. I don't know if I'd call this 100% tangle or twist free, but there is a curved design to where the leash material retracts back into the housing that usually does straighten it out to provide easy full retraction without having to manually untwist it. I'm very satisfied with this leash.

It broke the first time I used it. My dog only weighs 10 lbs and is not a puller, it went all the way out and would not retract.

This leash is pretty good and hasn't gotten tangled so far which is great, but it is a bit annoying to unlock. I wish pressing the big button temporarily locked it while you hold it down, but lifting up your thumb would automatically unlock it. Instead, pressing down the big button holds it in a lock position and to unlock it you need to pull in the smaller button, which makes it annoying to temporarily stop your dog from going too far. Other than that it's been working well for us though.

Honestly, this leash is a little larger than Id anticipated when I ordered it. It seems geared more to large-medium to large-sized dogs. You can see from my photos the measurement of it, and in the hand, the handle weighs about three-quarters of a pound. My dog weighs about 30 lbs, and I have been using a much smaller leash of the same type. So its going to take getting used toits about the same size as I used to use for fifty-pound dogs. That said, this is very well built and substantial, especially for the price. Im accustomed to seeing a leash this size and this well put together for at least twice the price. The tape cord is long and fastened to a chrome hook that attaches to the dogs collar by sewn leather. To me, the plastic of the handle feels thick, and the grip and edge are rubberized so its unlikely to slip out of my hands. Its also not a leash that Id be afraid to drop; it doesnt seem like it would crack or come apart easily. (Screws hold the two pieces tightly together.) It also looks very nice. (Sorry that the leash is a bit out of focus in the pics with the dog.) I agree with a couple other reviewers that it is unusual that pushing down the button locks it and you have to press the other button to unlock it. Usually, pressing that type of button temporarily holds the leash length in place. It does make it a little awkward. This seems to be a very good leash, though maybe best for larger-sized medium dogs.

Let us start off with the positives of the Raysfung Retractable Dog Leash. The grip is very comfortable to hold. I like the 2 feet that are outside of the base because it does make it easier to hook on the pup. Those are pretty much it for the positives. The plastic is very cheap feeling. The return mechanism inside the handle seems to struggle to get the lease to return. The fabric seems ok but it is advertised as tangle free and it has tangled and need to be straightened out so it could return. I hate that every time you press in the button it looks on you. It makes it highly annoying if you are just doing a temporary hold for your pup. Overall, it works but there are better options out there for the price.
