It's a great way to see how dirty your floors are. It does pick up quite a bit and cleaning is pretty decent. I use it a lot on hardwood floors and it does a good job of picking dust and dirt. Cleaning is pretty straight forward. You just have to be careful about the detergent. Try to avoid fabric softeners and scented detergents.

Okay, what? Who knew my floors were this dirty? Bear with me, this is a review about a mop cloth/head, so we have to go dirty! I have uploaded a whole lot of pictures so you can make an informed decision. So let me explain the pictures. But first, some background. My spouse and I tend to clean up after ourselves, so our home is pretty clean. No cleaner could get a deep clean contract from us, it is that clean. So I was quite shocked at what this mop head picked up. 1. The picture with it attached to the mop shows how it fits. Quite snug to the mop with almost no extra. 2. The picture with it over a purple mop head shows that the purple one is larger. So if you had that, just to let you know how it compares. The purple mop head is slightly larger. 3. The really gross pictures (sorry, but you have to see this) is what it picked up from the hardwood floors. I will admit that we had just cooked and had a bit of foot traffic in. But boy, oh boy, did it pick up stuff. 4. The picture of the mop head clean - is after washing all that grime off in the washing machine on quick wash cycle, and voila, it is back to new. I really love this mop head. I did not have to soak and then dry before first use making it quite convenient. It is easy to wash and looks as good as new (though this is just after one wash). I definitely believe this is value for money. Go get some dirt!
