I've only been using this product for a short period of time, so I will have to update as time goes on. It does have a slight odor, which I wouldn't say is pleasant, but also not bad. It reminds me of something from my past, but I can't quite place the smell. Although it contains castor oil, which is supposed to be good for your hair, I don't find it to be oily. I have been spraying it in my hair at night and washing it out in the morning. It doesn't seem to leave any sort of residue on my pillow. I have a pretty full head of hair, so I am primarily using rice water to nourish and strengthen my hair. I figure I need to give this product a few months before being able to report on its effectiveness.

It smells funny, but it works. Ive noticed a change in my hair. Im going buy it one more time just to make sure.

While it says it's unscented, it is not. It smells like buttered popcorn cooked in coconut oil. The scent lingers for about an hour. I usually spray in one spot on my front hairline after I've gotten ready for bed. I get a whiff of it every so often while lying down. It does eventually go away. It's definitely gone by morning. I shake before the 2 sprays, rub in, and it dries in a few mins. It comes out as black water. No oily residue.

I thought this would take a while to see results (if any). I was pleasantly surprised to see results right away. Im going gray, and the few grey hairs that I have are brittle and tend to stand straight up. This rice water spray softened the gray hairs and made them lay down. I believe this will make my hair grow not by stimulating growth but rather by preventing breakage. The rice water is full of proteins. This is also much easier than making your own rice water. Tips: Dont use more than twice per week. Youll want to use more product than the bottle suggestsput it all over your hair. Wash out after 30 minutes. Dont leave this on overnight. It has a slight odor, and there is no need to leave it on. The proteins survive the shampooing process.
