I've been doing some mosaics lately so I asked my husband to order these purple tiles for me. FYI they are round and not square like usual tiles. I like that the tiles are in four different sizes. It would be great if the different sizes would come in recloseable packets but it's okay. Using the new purple tiles along with some other white and glittery mosaic tiles I had, I just decorated this blank wooden frame. Fun!

These round tiles are, in fact, stained glass though they aren't labeled as such. I smashed one to see if these are glass or mislabeled glazed ceramic (they look like ceramic) and they are definitely glass. Stained glass is so much the better because they won't fade in the sun (sometimes colored glass just has a colored coating over clear glass and does not hold up when used outside). This is perfect because I need these tiles for outdoor mosaics. The tiles are pretty and iridescent. They arrived individually packaged in bags by size. No complaints!

These are round ceramic tiles, glazed with (in my case) iridescent blue glaze. The listing mentioned glass or stained glass, however these are not glass tiles, they are glazed ceramic. The tiles come in four different sizes, presorted in their own bags. As the listing and packaging warn, they do come with a fair amount of clay residue and need to be washed before using. The glaze is a lovely blue with some coppery-gold iridescence. The glaze coverage is smooth on the top and sides, with a slightly rougher, non-iridescent bottom where the tiles rested in the kiln. None of my tiles arrived with sharp edges or chips, but some of them did have minor dings and dents in the clay beneath the glaze. You'd have to be looking at them very close to tell, however.

These tiles are very pretty & will work perfectly to finish a project where I want to simulate water bubbles. Each tile has a flat underside & rounded top & they have just a touch of iridescence. It was a nice surprise to see that the tiles were presorted into 4 packages instead of all mixed together. After removing the packaging & rinsing them, I was able to see that none arrived broken. I noted that each package was about the same size meaning they were measured by weight not volume which means there are progressively fewer tiles as they graduate in size. Very happy!
