Rubie's Taco Pet Costume, Small...

was quite cumbersome and hard to put on. he fought me every inch of the way, his 1st (and last) costume. too large for my 20lb corgi, now I see I bought the wrong size. he is loving working on it as a toy tho, and my 68yr old sister parades around in the cute cinco de mayo hat :)

I bought this in a large to fit my Beagle mix. The straps on the side thay are supposed to wrap under the dog's belly were each about 2 1/2 inches long. So if your dog is 5" or smaller around, you're good, which is ridiculous. I ended up using a bungie cord to secure it for the night. The "shell" part of the taco also just flops. It doesn't stand up like it does in the picture. I added stuffing and it still was pretty bad.

I ordered this in a small for my 6 pound Yorkie. It looks perfect on her and she doesnt mind it. It looks especially cute with the hat but the hat does have a chin strap that might bother some dogs. Cute without the hat too.

This costume is exactly what I wanted. It was a little big on my 5-lb chihuahua, but it still looked wonderful. No complaints to be found!

I liked the way the taco attached with Velcro and was adjustable. Does slide around a bit if your cat likes to move around. Probably not good for a cat for all day wear. But it worked great while he was sitting down. The sobrero is cute and works well, even has holes for ears. My cat froze when I put it on him, though. The material of the taco is like a heavy felt, I would say. Nice and stuff and sturdy.
