This is a good mix of spices. It can be a bit strong unless you know how much you want to add. I experimented with different amounts to get it right.

I'm not specifically familiar with Georgian cuisine but I loved the sound of the spices in this blend. I love cumin and I love craway... the combination is just fabulous! Rounding it out with black and red pepper, turmeric & sumac; the whole combination is at once exotic, yet familiar. I'm delighted with it! I've only used in rice but I think it woulkd be a fabulous dry rub for meat also.

This spice blend consists of six simple ingredients and is easy to incorporate into rice to make pilaf. This is convenient to have on hand because I dont have a consistent stock of some of the spices. The six ingredients include: black pepper, turmeric, cumin, caraway, sumac, red pepper. It makes for a tasty pilaf with little additional effort. I wish there were instructions or ratios included on the packaging. I ended up adding some spice, tasting, and repeating until I got it to the flavor that I wanted. It was still quicker and more convenient than adding each slice individually, but it would have been easier if the manufacturer included instructions, suggested ratios, and recipe ideas.

This makes a really tasty rice dish. It is a well-balanced spice blend and it perks up rice easily. Also good on chicken.
