This didn't come with instructions or any sort of idea of how to use it, which could be helpful to know if the paints here are meant to be used wet or dry. And I found out after trying that they don't work very well went wet. But when dry it goes apply pretty well and stays on for a while without rubbing off. The fake blood is a little watery and doesn't work well for many uses unless you mix it with something to thicken it up a little, which is fine. The wax is more of a putty than a wax, but it still works for what it's intended for. This is a decent kit for beginners or for someone who just has a quick specific purpose and doesn't need anything over-the-top.

I love the simplicity of this kit. Theres no bells and whistles but what it does come with is everything you will need to pull off some awesome Halloween makeup affects. The wax was very easy to use and I am a beginner. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to apply it and it really helped me learn what to do. The color wheel has all the colors needed to create not only bruises and wounds, but also fairy/whimsical face art as well. I found that the colors stayed on my skin without shifting around. The blood did stain my skin alittle but Ive always had that happen with fake blood so no big deal there. It looked like real blood and was also easy to apply. Overall, it is a great, simple Halloween makeup kit for beginners.

This set is perfect for a beginner in Special effects. We did a variety of scars with open wounds. The wax is easy to use but not as easy to come off. The blood did stain our clothes a little and the kids hands but we still like to use it. The color pigments is PERFECT for shading making everything look realistic. We also used the color pigments do do face painting. We did do a skin test before divining in since we have sensitive skin!

This blood makeup kit is just what I need for Halloween or anytime I need to but some scary scenes for whatever the mood hits me. This kit even though its small had a good amount of materials that allowed me to make up my hand to be a bloody mess that freaked out out my family. The blood came in two styles one is sprayable and one is a thicker; both blood types were easy to work with. I liked how the thicker blood didnt move around so I gave me time to brush it as necessary to create the bloody depiction I desired. The spray blood was good in getting a blood splatter look. The wax was easy to work with but Im not an expert in doing this so my end result was not as good looking as I wanted but since I was making a cut up bloody scene it didnt have to be perfect. The tool and brushes were nice to include in this as I would have had to dig around the house just to find my brushes. The colored pigments were good and I was able to get some decent decorative details drawn in to give my bloody scene that extra pop that made it look cool. Overall I found this Halloween make up kit to have the key materials for me to create a cool bloody scene that spooked any bystanders. Oh, I forgot to mention that the blood was easy to wash off, the wax took a little while to get it fully removed.
