Okay let's get this out of the way. So much detail and so well built but COME ON, this must be a mirror build because HANDS DON'T WORK LIKE THAT. Look at his outstretched hand, now look at yours. You see? Okay with that out of that way(and that little detail bugs me) I can say this is a very nicely built, solid figurine. The detail is also very solid. Take the time and look at the paint and also look at the straps and feel them. They are very nicely done. I don't know if this is a toy or a showpiece. It's pretty good. At 20 bucks it better be. Recommended.

The model is pretty weighty and painted well. It would be neat for the little cowboy in your life or just someone that loves cowboys and rodeos.

We have collected a whole bunch of Schleich toy figures and they are always amazing quality. This bull riding set is a really cool addition to our collection. The bull and rider are two separate pieces and they are both very detailed and realistic looking. My son has enjoyed playing with them both, seeing how long the rider can stay on the bull. The bull is actually a little larger than I thought it would be, and both figures are so well made, they will definitely hold up to many years of playing.

This is a neat little bull rider action figure set. It is a pretty straightforward bull rider and bull, with ropes. There is not really any articulation here, so you are kind of dealing with a plastic statue, but the pose it is in is very dynamic. It does have some pokey edges to it, so you would definitely want to reserve this for a mildly older child, I guess like elementary school age. The paint job is also rather well done. Fun toy!

This Bucking Bull (who's just getting ready for another leap) looks like he's not gonna stand for any guff. Although I haven't taken the wires off that give this cowboy a fighting chance, I can tell that the chance he'll stay on this bull's back for 8 full seconds are slim. He's just balanced on the bulls back, although he does have a solid grip of the rope that's his life line. This Bull and Cowboy are another great addition to Schleich's Farm World line. I like that they're sturdy enough to pass from one generation to the next (my grandkids are now playing with Schleich toys that my children once used), and Schleich claims that these toys are non-toxic, which is reassuring. Note that this bull has some heft to him, and that the cowboy's waving arm is articulated. I like that the cowboy doesn't come apart (unlike Hanna in the Cayenne and Hanna set), and that his hat is molded on to his head. The Bull's gear however is removeable.
