Im a speech language pathologist and this game has been amazing to provide a fun and engaging way to teach perspectives, reading the room, and social clues with new fun engaging images. Worth the money. Would love to try the rest of the games.

It's a totally different playing mechanism than Zombie Kidz and Zombie Teenz, with low re-playability.

We are a board gaming family and especially like mysteries, so I thought wed have fun with this. This is a unique, cooperative gaming experience involving mystery, strategy, observation skills, logic, teamwork, point-of-view, and storytelling skills. The general theme is that zombies have invaded the school, and players must go back in time (viewing memory flashbacks) to solve mysteries related to the zombies plans in order to foil their schemes. There are three flashback memories (mysteries to solve), and once those are done there is a sealed section of the instruction booklet that details other smaller investigations to extend the gameplay. From what I can tell, gameplay is not unlimited, but there is a lot to do here. The memories must be solved in order because of the larger story. Each of the three groups of memories comprise one moment in time, while each card shows what a particular character saw during that moment. When you view and begin to put together every characters vision, the whole picture comes into focus and the players are able to answer the challenging narrative questions about what is happening and why. Noticing the details is important, so its a puzzle to solve slowly and thoroughly with each round. Players start with the first card that has a play icon next to the number, and from there, pick which point of view to pursue, and flip over corresponding number cards. Along the way there are gizmos and two kinds of special cards that also come into play. I played this with two of my kids (a preteen and teen), and we all really enjoyed it. I played in more of a facilitator role so that I could at times ask leading questions to improve their observation skills, while also being the only one to look at the answer key at the end so that we could replay a different day if we werent successful in finding the solutions. So far weve played only the first round, which took us 60 minutes, including figuring out how to play. We were 100% successful in our solutions. All three of us had a lot of fun and look forward to more rounds and potentially future games. I find the artwork really compelling, and appreciate the many skills this kind of gameplay builds in my kids. I found this while learning how to play, and its not the same scenes as in the game, so a great way to get familiar with the main idea without giving away any secrets. The full game has more components and is even more fun and interesting than the mini.

9 year-old, who had loved the other Zombie Kidz games, really enjoyed it but we played through the whole thing in one afternoon.
