Meh...

They work, but the skin has to be "clean and dry." Which is a "duh" for any adhesive (excepting cyanoacrylate), so closing a bleeding wound, requires a tourniquet. They're useful if you know what you're doing. I'm slightly afraid some DYI'er would... find them lacking.

Quick fix

Bought these on a whim camping. Our kids ride motor cycles and quads, so you never know when you might have an injury. Well we had a minor incident. An opened wound about the size of a nickel. These things worked out amazingly. We were out camping and could not get to a doctor right away and these things held up. We ended up not having to leave our trip to get a few stitches. I will say this. The injury was deep enough for some of the fatty tissue to show, but not deep enough to go into muscle or deeper. I would not recommend this for deep lacerations. Please see a doctor for any wound thst may be questionable. If this wound would have been any larger than a Nicole we would have definitely cut our trip short and head to get stitches.

Pretty cool and smart

Geeze, how many times in your life would this had been useful having? From being a kid to being an adult. Sometimes it's more than a band-aid boo boo. Haven't needed to use this yet. But I was telling my boss about it took them in and she's ordering some for our kit at work (I work in a restaurant, so we're always needing to be patched up).

Perfect for my first aid kit

These sutureless sutures are blessing to have available otc. Being able to stow this into a first aid kit to have on hand for an emergency that needs more than a bandaid transforms selfcare. These won't replace every instance of the need for actual sutures (scalp injuries come to mind), as these need enough skin to adhere to, but for most larger cuts these can help avoid regular sutures altogether. Amazing invention. Going in my growing first aid bag.
