easy way to get selenium

This pill is excellent; non gmo, 3rd party tested and vegan. However, I learned the hard way that you need to stay on top of how much you are taking as this will cause stomach upset if you over dose..

Very good Selenium capsules!

These are very good quality Selenium capsules. They did not have a bitter aftertaste and they are easy to swallow. They worked well and they did not upset my stomach while taking these capsules. I will get these Selenium capsules again as they are a good quality supplement.

Vla Nutrition Selenium Supplement, 200mcg, 200 Capsules

Vela Nutrition and Zeal Naturals are brands owned by VZ Nutrition LLC, a Utah-based company. The Vela Nutrition website mentioned on the bottle label currently redirects to a page on their LiveZeal website. They don't have much information on their site at this time, but the bottle says they use third-party-tested and non-GMO ingredients, and that they use a GMP-compliant manufacturing facility; though that factory could be in another country since I didn't see any 'Made in USA' statements on the bottle. The bottle's label includes a retail UPC. It came with a clear plastic safety seal around the lid. This was ordered for a family member who usually uses selenium capsules from a different brand that is available in local stores. The dosage is the same as this one from Vela, 200 micrograms per capsule. He takes one per day. They seem to be equivalent to his usual brand. The bottle we received in March 2023 is good through Feb 2025, according to the expiration date printed on the bottom of the bottle.

Great Part of My Protocol

I am following Dr. Burt Berkson's protocol for healing neuropathy and selenium is an important part of that protocol. I take one in the morning and one in the evening along with a multitude of other vitamins. Am I getting enough selenium? I don't know. But I have complete faith in this protocol, and I am going to keep taking them. I have had no negative side effects from this supplement, and I believe that is a good sign that I am taking the right ones. They don't have a bad smell, and they aren't too big to swallow. I hate swallowing big pills. These aren't tiny, but they definitely aren't big. They seem great.

Great supplement to help with infections.

I've been taking selenium for quite some time. And I wanted to go ahead and try this brand. It's always good to switch up things from time to time. It's great to help with infections if you have anything that comes up. However, you need to be careful because this herbal supplement acts like a blood thinner. So my doctor always makes sure that I'm off of it for 2 weeks, in case I have any upcoming surgeries. You don't want to bleed to death. That wouldn't be a good thing. Now it says that it's known to make DNA, but I haven't really made any effort to check the facts on this... It's got various enzymes and proteins in there. So it can help prevent cell damage in your body. So to me...this supplement is something I think everybody should be taking on a regular basis. Because it does help your system stay healthier in the long run.
