Doesn't remove much hair from my cat

This brush does not work well for my cat. My cat loves to be brushed and has a very thick coat so normally a lot of hair comes off when I brush her. In this case she really liked the brush, as usual, but very little hair came off - and worse, a lot of the hair that it did remove flew off into the air and didnt' stay in the brush. If I wanted cat hair floating around in the air she is more than capable of doing that herself, no brush required! I've included a photo of the small amount of hair removed after brushing. Maybe this would work better on a dog with longer, coarser hair but at the very least I don't think it works for cats. The self cleaning feature is really cool though, you push a button and all of the hair comes out leaving the brush totally clean, so I really wish the actual brush part had worked better.

Dog hair

Is pretty good picks up most of the hair. When cleaning hair off the brush is easy some times some stays behind so I need to finish cleaning with hand and fingers

Great brush and easy to remove the hair

Easy to use brush! Lightweight. Fits easily in my hand. Bristles are stiff enough and long enough (see photo) to get thru a thicker coat, but not so stiff that they dont feel good. Brush could be used on a cat or dog. Our dog is a shorter hair dog and worked fine on him. Was more like a massage. We also tried on our pet sitting client with long thick hair. Worked great on him. Did a good job of getting thru all the hair and helping with the shedding. Best part of the brush is the press/release button for the hair! Quick and easy! Good value for the $.

Long bristles

The brush is very nice but I would not say its for short haired cats. The bristles are pretty long so its more suitable for a pet with a longer coat. It is great quality and feels very durable.

I love this brush!

We have an aussidoodle with a gorgeous coat, however its long right now as we are coming out of winter. Our last slicker brush was so hard to clean but this one isnt! I love the push button to remove hair and the tips arent razor sharp like a lot of other dog brushes. This is a overall good brush
