I really love my little fat pens. So much fun to write with.

These pens are just like me...short..chunky and funky. Fun colors and patterns...they write well and they look great. Big thumbs up.

I have basal thumb joint arthritis in both my hands which makes the pinching mechanism of my fingers hard to do. Unfortunately, that includes holding a pen. A few years ago, I bought the orange and black pen pictured next to the yellow, white and pink colored pen. The orange pen is much fatter, has a rubber grip texture and is a little longer which is much easier to write with than these Iyforx pens. But the orange pen is ugly, it's not fun colors:) These colorful pens are easier to write with than a regular ballpoint pen, but fatter would be even better. To be a little bit more comfortable the pen also need to be another inch longer. The Iyforx pens are still helpful depending on your degree of arthritis. They do write neatly, and for some people they would be easier to hold than a standard size pen, but my arthritis is more advanced so it probably means I need a much fatter pen. The ball on the top of the pen twist to make the ball point ink pop in and out. These pens also have a pocket tab to hold this pen inside a pocket. They are a good size for my purse. I love the colors and designs on these fat pens, but wish they had been slightly fatter, slightly longer, and may be had a rubber gripper at the tip. Five fat pens for nine dollars is still a great deal, and depending on how bad your arthritis is, these will be easier to hold in a standard pen. These pens can still be used by people without arthritis, and they could even be used by younger kids learning to use a ballpoint pen. The colors are super fun I just wish they were easier for me to hold since they are advertised as being helpful for somebody with arthritis. Most people with tremors, arthritis, or Parkinsons have adult size hands, and a slightly bigger pen would be easier for any handicap person to hold. I gave these pens four stars because the colors are super fun, the price is great and they write very nicely. They get three stars if buying for arthritic hands.
