I bought the lilac scent a couple months ago and was a little worried since it seemed smaller than ones I've bought in stores before. But, even burning it for an hour or more every day, it's lasted almost two months for me. Also, it actually gets rid of the old/musty smell in my condo, and helps get rid of the scent of smoke--I unfortunately have neighbors all around who smoke, so if I leave windows open the smoke stench comes in if I don't close them in time. Not to mention the people down the hall from me. Also, my AC unit is old and needs replacing eventually, since it also gives off a musty/old smoke stench quite often. These were the big reasons I was looking around for something to help make my unit smell nice. I'm so happy I stumbled across these candles, because they work so well! Even today, I left earlier for a bit and left the AC on since it's so hot and I don't want my cats to roast, and when I came back the whole place smelled badly of old smoke. So I've been burning my lilac candle for a bit, went out to grab something, and when I came back my entire unit already smelled pleasantly of lilac! My point is, I'm amazed how well these work, and honestly I think I'll stick with these candles for now. Hence why I bought this new scent (the bamboo one) as my other one is getting low, it also smells amazing. They're not overwhelming but strong enough to work wonders. Definitely recommend if your'e fighting some old/musty/smoky stench.

Dianne, Dianne! You have done something for me that is almost impossible to exaggerate. For anyone who lives in an apartment - this review is for you. I live in an apartment complex surrounded on all sides by neighbors who live like 4/20 is every day. They smoke cigarettes, they smoke . During the day, and in the dark of night. I instinctively wake up when there are strong smells (think someone frying bacon, or...smoking weed). Lately, my neighbors have been smoking at 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am. After a couple of weeks of this, I was a sleep-deprived wreck. Rolling out of bed to spray Lysol, Febreeze wasn't working. My normal wax melts weren't working. I was miserable, achy, and exhausted. THEN a moment of delirious inspiration - I thought "surely they make some sort of odor eliminating thing for this in particular. It's an entire industry now." Since all of the other candles seemed more harmful - and quite frankly, ugly - I went with Dianne. We tried the Bamboo and Lilac scents first. AMAZING. Fresh scents that filled the home in a pleasant way, not too overpowering. And most importantly they WORK. Within a couple of minutes of smelling the smoke odors, they disappear. I'm not kidding you. If I only light the candle once the smoke comes in, it takes maybe 5 or so minutes for the weed smell to vanish. If I light it in anticipation of the smoke smell? Forget it. Place just smells great. So far we've loved every scent we've tried. Baby Powder and Pumpkin Spice, and now Vanilla Bean as well. Not sickly overpowering and FUNCTIONAL. I now set my candle warmer on about 10 minutes before bed for preventative measures and I sleep clear through the night. No more waking up to spray/pray so that I can fall back asleep. Dianne and her candles have completely upped my quality of life. I sleep through the night and wake up with less aches and pains. I enjoy my living room and kitchen more. You know, the place that I pay absurd rent to enjoy. The candles might seem pricey, but for how well they work? I'll cough up those dollars every time. THANK YOU, Dianne. Keep making these and don't change a thing! NOTE: Since I needed this to be working THROUGH THE NIGHT, I couldn't light the wick with a flame like I usually would for a candle. Instead, I got a CANDLE WARMER LAMP that warms the candle from above, for maximum safety and scent dispersion. If you are purchasing for the same reason I am, be sure to get one if you don't already own one. The candle may not fit on your wax warmer, and it's probably best to warm it from above anyway. If the scent starts to fade a little, just pour a top layer of wax out, and move the lamp closer to the candle so that it'll continue to work. But you won't have to often. These candles LAST.

The title might leave it thinking huh? But let me explain.... I personally wanted something new that was strong, and filled a room with a good scent. I usually buy candles all the time and they're good decent with a light Fragrance. Now let's get into the title..... If candles had a tier system the dollar store candles would be trashish( you know the unscented tiny crappy ones), then there'd be the regular ones you buy. Now then there's this baby, this isn't a candle this a dang King/Queen of candles. I lite this baby up left to go shopping( I leave my candles in a large bowl with water, it's weird ik... Better safe than sorry wanted to see how good it was) anyways.... Went to go shopping ( Abt an HR maybe less) came back with windows open I might add rip forget about those lol but still this baby hit me like cloud of goodness. It's strong, but to me not omg that's strong af ( I like stronger scents, you may not). So if you want a regular candle go to Meijer, but if you want a badass, good smelling, way better scent for your buck King/Queen among candles then this candle is for you! I won't ever buy any candle but this again, actually excited to see how the apples and cinnamon smell after this. Okay so let's get into everything else... the candles came wrapped in thick bubble wrap each one. There wasn't any leeway in the box for bouncing around so that's amazing! Super fast delivery! All in all straight 5* in my book, and I can be a picky a hole lol so that's saying something.
