Hard but rewarding

I really don't know just how much for beginners this kit it. I had a heck of a time with it to be honest, but once I got the hang of it it wasn't bad. I think that it would probably be easier if I had practiced some basic stiches before hand. This is a great set for someone just starting out but would do well if they know just a bit of what they are doing.

Pattern is rubbing off

I've just begun using one of the patterns and it's already rubbing off. There is no way I'll be able to finish this because every time I handle it, more of the pattern rubs off. Cheaply done. Very unhappy with the quality of the pattern

Great Gift Idea!

I love this set so much! I've been embroidering for years and, the nice thing is, everything you need to make each one of these designs is right in its own little package AND the embroidery floss is cut, sorted AND labeled for you already. If you have a few crafty friends, they would each make a fun addition to a gift. Of course, if you don't have crafty friends, you can stitch these up and give them the finished product (which is my plan!). The instructions are provided, as well as needles and hoops (though there are only two hoops for the four designs) The only thing I'd advise against is that these are not kits that are really designed for beginners. The designs are tiny and would be difficult to learn with. Again, it's not an issue for me, but something worth noting. A great product at a great price!
