Simplicity sewing pattern

This is a Christmas present for my daughter. She likes to see historically accurate costumes from certain eras, so I think that this will please her.

Great pattern, but needed alterations

This is a great pattern. However, when I made a muslin trial garment, the top needed alterations to fit properly. It was too short for my body, I had to add roughly 2 inches to the front and the back outside of that minor adjustment it was great and the fit once done was very flattering

Nice pattern

But I would say that the Folkwear pattern is simpler and more historically accurate.

18th century round dress

I bought this thinking it was a Regency outfit. It's not it's a round dress from the 1890's. In fact it is very similar to the dress found in the book 18th Century Dressmaking. I really like it. It's a great addition to my collection.
