My dog is an Aussiedoogle, and not many brushes work great for his fur, but this does! I was skeptical on the price, but Im sure well have this for a long time. Definitely recommend.

Works

I ordered this for my poodle puppy. She doesn't like it. The brush is a bit harsh for her. It tends to be a bit too pokey. Maybe she will get used to it but I went with a softer brush for now.

Wish there were more stars my furbabies LOVE this

I got this for our adopted Heinz 57 dog which he looks very similar to a Papillon with his thick long fur. We always say he has the Jane Fonda hair going on when he's got his head out the window while riding in our vehicle. So yeah he gets a lot of tangles and has a thick coat of fur, and doesn't help when he likes to run through the woods chasing wildlife....yes he has little dog complex. So we have been looking for something with longer bristles to help get through his coat and help detangle it too. This did one heck of a job and get rid of so much of his undercoat while making his fur look fluffy and straight. While we were brushing him out the cat got wind of this attention and she wanted to be brushed too. She is just a short hair calico cat but LOVES being brushed and she was immediately drawn to this brush. We brushed her too and ended up getting three brush fulls off her??? Like really how could you have that much fur, but she LOVED this brush. Yes I have the corner attachment in the house and she is constantly rubbing against it and she get her daily pets/pats from everyone that comes to our home. If you're looking for a brush that will easily go through thick long haired coats this is the brush for you. It's a great product and all three of fur babies LOVE it, that usually never happens.

Works Great but a Little Cheaply Made

This brush does a great job at helping my dog get rid of her winter undercoat. I hate to see her get overheated at the beginning of hot weather, so I like to give her a good brushing to remove her winter undercoat. This brush works better than all of the other brushes I have at pulling out that undercoat without having to brush her super aggressively. I am giving it four stars instead of five because it feels a little cheaply made. The plastic has some imperfections that are not smooth and I am a little worried that the metal bristles will fall out, but so far so good. Overall, a great brush.

Great for poodle hair

This works perfectly. Our poodle has thick hair and an uncropped tail that's got long strands of hair on it. It's bushy and needs to be brushed out daily to keep it from getting knots. His ears need brushing daily and his body coat as well. We first had a dog brush that had tiny coated balls on the tips so that it wouldn't scratch our dog's skin. However he was getting snarls and it wasn't doing a good job of removing the tiny knots in his hair close to his skin and on his taile and ears. This type of brush without the protective balls on the tips is what we needed. This one works just right. It doesn't bother his skin, and it does remove the snarls and knots. It's easy to hold and it should last for quite a while. I'm happy with it.
