Nice pen. It's hefty and feels good in the hand. I do like it. It is NOT, however, compatible with the Fisher SPR4 refills as the description states. The tip on them is too thick to go through the hole. I was a bit irritated, as I ordered the Fisher refills and they are not cheap. I'm gonna carefully ream out the hole until they fit through, cause the cartridges that come with this pen are not good.

This pen is great! Its solid, heavy, and writes well. I am very impressed with this pen. The only downside to it is the glow tubes they do not stay glowing for more than 1 min. Also the glass breaker doesnt feel super secure when in the out position. But it has patinad very well over 2 months. I have also ran through 2 ink cartridges, so I really use this thing everyday

The only downside to the pen is that after a while the pocket clip will get a little loose due to how you unclick the pen it's not a problem at all as you can just tighten it back. I have been using the pen for a few months now (though I don't use the original ink) I've dropped it multiple times on concrete and in salt water and aside from a little ding it is totally spotless. one thing to note however is that the dark color of the pen will wear away after using it for a while and will leave it a nice light brass color.

I love heavier pens. I do a lot of writing at work, and pens tend to disappear if you're not careful. Heavy brass pens are too heavy, and there is no mistaking "oh I thought it was my pen" excuses. My current pen is 3 years old and I wanted a little change of pace. I love the glow tubes in this one (regular glow in the dark, not tritium but the trite vials will fit). Refill writes smooth (gel) and is indeed a standard Parker refill (I have a couple dozen in regular ink and gel). Finish is very nice and comfortable to use without becoming irritating. The "glass breaker" is ok. The bolt action does not allow it to be locked into place, and I would fear it not engaging properly in a true emergency. I guess my thought is the glass breaker is loose in the barrel and has too much give. THe bolt works pretty good otherwise, and the pen "locks" into the closed position and the writing position. THe overall bolt guide groove is a bit sharp on the edges, so care should be used. THe front grip is dang near perfect with provide good solid traction, without causing discomfort or irritation. I use this pen for 10 hours a day and love the way it feels at the end of the day. So far the refill has lasted a solid week (and this week saw a LOT more writing then usual). The pocket clip is a bit tight, but I don't pocket the pen anyway as it is too heavy. THis pen truely stands out from your typical disposable garbage.

This is a phenomenal pen for the price. It is very well made and is a pleasure to look at, to hold, and to write with. The bolt action is very cool in that if you move the bolt down it exposes the writing tip, and if you move the bolt up it exposes the glass breaking tip, and it also has a neutral position. It has very nice machining in the grip area that makes it easy to hold which is a big plus for me because I happen to have a very weak hand due to a spinal condition. The brass develops a nice patina very quickly. Believe it or not I liked the pen so much that I bought five of them.
