Large is not as big as a normal soccer ball, maybe a size 3 ball (not 5 which is standard). That said dogs love that they can pick it up by the straps, they also try to pull the straps off and we have to remove it so they do not destroy it, this is one you need to keep an eye on them while they use it. Comes with a pump for inflating. It is expensive though.

I don't know how, but my dog knew that this was for him - of course, he thinks everything is for him, lol. But seriously, he loves chasing balls and this one with the tabs will be easy for him to carry back. I like that it comes with a handpump, but after 5 minutes, I gave up (see last picture). I'll finish inflating with a compressor. If you don't have a compressor, the handpump will do the job, but it will take some effort. Recommend.

This dog ball is one of my dogs favorite toys. They love throwing the ball by grabbing onto the canvas coming out of the ball.

I really wanted to LOVE this ball, but instead, it only gets a LIKE. I ordered the large size ball and you can tell from the picture its size in comparison to my TV remote. The ball is extremely well-made and should last quite awhile outside in our FL sunshine. However, the needle to the air pump broke off inside the ball while I was trying to fill it; I had to remove the needle with pliers. Fortunately, I had another small pump and was able to finish blowing up the ball. We have 5 dogs but only 2 that really like to play with balls. I could only get one of our larger (70+ lb) dogs interested in this ball. He had a hard time trying to figure out what to do with all the straps attached to the ball. He lost interest fairly quickly, but I'm sure he'll pick it up again the next time he's outside. Again, I was impressed with the overall quality of the ball but wish it was just a little bit larger.

My dog absolutely loves this ball! She is always been more into balls and especially little soccer balls. So this is perfect for her. The handles make it easier for them to bite and grab onto. It is a good smaller size for medium dogs. They do offer this in a larger size as well. The pattern of it is very cute and says Barcelona on it. My dog also goes crazy over these inflatable type balls. The only reason I gave four stars is because the air pump broke easily. I believe that there was a defect in the metal piece that screws on the end. There were no holes in the sides of the metal piece , only at the very tip. No matter what angle and what depth I tried, I could not get this thing to inflate. The pump was not working correctly and the handle at the top snapped off with very little pressure.
