I couldn't find garlic tablets at my local pharmacy. They have been out for several weeks so I ordered these. They are definitely garlic capsules! You can tell as soon as you open the bottle. Sometimes after taking them you may get a garlic taste if you burp. I learned not to take them after breakfast! Garlic flavored cereal isn't too appetizing! I usually take them after my dinner and if I burp it isn't too bad. I have no idea if garlic helps your health but I started taking them last spring to keep mosquitoes off of me and they seemed to help but the summer was very hot and dry this year and it might be their simply were fewer mosquitoes in general. The jury's still out but I have plenty of capsules to use up so I will keep taking them and see if they work next summer.
