I wanted to try this because it was fluoride-free and made with "plant components". Unfortunately, the packaging is just not to par. As other reviewers have noted, the ingredient list is scattered and incomplete. The performance of the toothpaste is average. It cleans well and leaves a mild aftertaste. The flavor is more "cool mint" vs. a bold mint, as preferred. Just needs a clear ingredient list.

I've been using this toothpaste for several weeks without any major concerns. The taste is lightly minty veering toward licorice, which I don't mind. It lightly seems to be whitening teeth a bit, but hard to definitively tell. Price is a little high relative to others. It foams nicely, if a bit thick, and seems to clean teeth reasonably well.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now, and I haven't noticed my teeth getting whiter. They do feel clean though. As far as the toothpaste goes, it cleans well. It has a grit to it like baking soda. It reminds me of using a mixture of baking soda and peroxide as far as texture and scent goes. I actually went to check the tube to see If it was a baking soda and peroxide tooth paste and I was disappointed that the ingredients aren't on the tube. I realized later that it's on the box. I had thrown away the box it came in, but fortunately, i had the boxes for the other 2 tubes in this set. They really should be listed on the tube though. One day I went to brush my teeth and none would come out of the tube. I squeezed so hard and it wouldn't budge. I took the cap completely off and it still wouldn't come out. I had to bust up a hard place to be able to use it. Then I noticed that there was some smeared on my counter. It wouldn't come off without scraping it off. Be prepared for this toothpaste to dry hard like dry wall putty. Always be sure the lid is closed well so it won't dry up on you.
