Bilingual family games are difficult to find and we were pretty impressed by this one. The instructions are in English so it is probably geared towards English speakers that want to practice their Spanish. After playing it a couple of times we noticed that the translation is quite good and didn't catch any errors which is another thing not as common. You are given 3 words that describe an animal and upon needing more information you can request clues. The clues basically just put those words into sentences so that part could use a little more creativity but otherwise a fun game to play! Our young children loved it because they know lots of animals and are regular zoo/safari visitors so it wasn't too difficult for them. Definitely would be hard if you don't have much knowledge about animals like for example: tasmanian devil or hedgehog were some that we did get but someone else may think its harder.

This card game is designed for kids, but as an adult, even though I'm quite advanced in Spanish, I still find it helpful. Overall, they are a great resource for anyone looking to brush up on their Spanish; especially for families with kids who are struggling to learn the language!

These bilingual english and spanish game is entertaining and easy to play. The instructions are written on the back of the box. The play cards are big, nice and sturdy. The cards have clues and details if each animal. My wife is currently learning spanish and this way is a fun way to practice her spanish words and how the sentences are formed. There are plenty of play cards to read from/play with. Also you get to learn a little more about various animals. What a fun idea!

I like that each card has all the clues in English and Spanish, so you have options on how to use both languages. The rules are more complicated than they need to be and some of the vocabulary in the clues are hard for younger players to read when giving the clues. Still good raw material for bilingual learning fun!

This is a pretty simple game for Spanish language learners. It feels nice quality (thick cards, nicely printed), though it is not perfect -- I was reading through the cards and found a typo pretty quickly. It's not a deal-breaker (more of an opportunity for discussion) but I do think it is worth noting. This is something I can easily play with my first and second year students for a change of pace.
