This strap is not quite as effective as another one I have as far as pain.. But the good part is this one doesn't irritate the back of my leg like my other straps. So I can wear it much longer, it does help with pain.

This small unobtrusive strap does exactly what it is supposed to do-stabilize the patella in my bone-on-bone knee. The only drawback for me is that it is hard to find because it is thin (which I like) and black. I don't wear it every day but when I needed it because the other knee was injured, my poor bone on bone was taking a "hit" and this small thin strap did its job protecting it.

So far its doing a great job of adding the support I need without the bulk. Ive tried two other straps and multiple braces. Its nice not dealing with buckles that dig into my leg. It allows me to articulate more naturally that a huge brace. I have almost no cartilage left and a torn meniscus. I liked it so much I ordered a back up. For the price, you cant lose by trying it out.

This simple strap works far better than any of the 5 knee straps/braces I have tried. It is so effective at reducing knee/patella pain that I sometimes forget that I am wearing it. The pressure it puts on stabilizing the joint is precise and subtle and there's no discomfort or awareness like there is with straps using a rubber grommet. I also like that the Velcro doesn't 'wander' off location and begin to irritate the skin (this happens with the 3 other straps I have tried). I have used it in rowing, recumbent bike, walking, yoga, and resistance workouts with excellent support.

This work just fine and was a good deal for the money however it does scratch up against your skin and leave marks, it's rough.
