These were very easy to assemble and are stronger than I thought they would be. In fact, I thought I would not be able to stack them - but I can! I really do like these very much but needed to remove one star due to the poor quality control of the packaging operation (the items themselves were perfectly fine and manufactured well - the set was simply incomplete). For my application, I will be using them for holding a bunch of paper keepsakes that I prefer to lay flat so they keep better. The bottom panel has so far been able to deal with the weight and shows no indication of impending failure (the bottom will only be stressed during lifting since when on a shelf, the entire bottom is supported fully from underneath). That means that the plastic rails that support hanging folders are not needed by me for this application. I am using the other box with the hanging folders, which support them well. The boxes have a good thickness to them and the fabric is attractive. I really like the holes on the side to assist in carrying them and lifting them to a shelf. Having the metal edging around the hand holes will certainly spread the force around and prevent damage, which I have had happen with not edging and loose fitting edging. This box has well fitting and appropriately thick edging that gives me confidence it will stand up to the demands.

In an effort to organize my life, I place an order for these file boxes. I like that I could collapse it and put it away if I don't use it but it's quite sturdy and stackable in case I do. The material it's made of is very nice and assembly only requires unfolding it and putting in the bottom, followed by putting on a plastic edger for where the hanging files will seat itself. Everything about this is great except for the fact that the inside was quite dirty from the manufacturing. There was a ton of paper or wood shavings inside that I had to vacuum up and use tape to remove.
