When it worked it was good. This stapler would not release the paper and to remove the papers you had to tear it out. The cutter gets jammed and there is no release. Every jam you have tear the paper out creating a slotted hole in the paper.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is cool! Whoever invented this is a genius. Think of all the metal this saves! All the jammed staplers! All the pokes from trying to pull out the mis-aimed staples. And all the papers that get snagged on the staples on other pages. It's so cool. It punches a hole in the paper and pushes the tab up inside a little slit. I wish I could see how it does it but it's closed. It does open a little, just to release the tiny bits of paper waste. I pulled the pages to see if they would hold and they did. If you pull hard it will rip, but for normal use. This was a joy to use. I wasn't sure how well it would hold but it seems to be holding well.

I never knew something like this existed! My standard stapler got jammed and I was in the market for a new stapler. This thing is so cool! It says it can bind up to 8 sheets which can be rough when it dulls down but seems to be effortless out of the box. It uses a sort of hole punch, fold and tuck type of bind that is shown very well in the marketing pictures in the listing. At first it looks like you have a hole in your papers but it actually notched it and folded it. It is pretty easy to take them apart too with no need for a staple remover. Super easy to use. Isn't hard on the hands for pushing together or anything. Very happy with this nifty thing!
