I'm impressed by a doorstop. I never thought I'd say that. I got these for heavy metal and glass office building type door and they didn't disappoint. The springs have good tension, the finish on them is nice and they hoclve good nonslip material on both top and bottom. They will hold heavy doors with up to a large gap. I will say if you need these for doors with a minimal gap then they might not be for you, I mean they'll only go so low. But they work really well and look good.

We have a front door and a door leading to the garage that we need to prop open every now and then. We have regular sized stoppers and they are just a bit too short to keep the door open. The garage door is spring loaded so that makes it more of a challenge to keep propped open. We had to resort to stuffing a folded up piece of cardboard and tightly wedging it under the doors. Then I saw this. The fully extended size is about double that of the regular stopper height and they have very grippy rubber on the top and bottom to keep our spring loaded door from sliding open. These are a very good idea. I would order again without hesitation

We have some doors in our house that are a little higher off of the floor than the average door and it is so hard to find a door stop that is tall enough for them. These are the perfect door stoppers for that exact problem. The adjustable spring allows you to push these under the gaps on pretty much any door. Since it is spring loaded and has a rubber bottom and top, it also doesn't budge once you have it firmly in place. I definitely recommend these for stubborn doors, they work great!

Let me start by saying I work in a college building so we have some very big and very heavy doors! These work wonderfully! Light weight for carrying but strong enough to hold doors. I love the ribbed side, it holds the door so well. Easy to use. You just place, press down, move the door and release your foot. Seriously need to consider getting these if you have big heavy doors that slide with regular door stops. Even my boss liked these!

I've bough plenty of rubbish door stoppers in the past, they were either too short or not grippy enough to actually hold the door. Since this is spring-loaded it will fit under doors with pretty large gaps, and the surfaces are plenty grippy and works well on hardwood and laminate.
