I am a makeup lover and this palette looked beautiful when I saw it. It comes with 6 eyeshadows, a blush color and a highlighter color. All 8 colors swatched well on my light-medium skin. Now came the test when using it on the eyes and face. I did find that I had to use a separate all over eyeshadow base color and highlight color, for me at least. I tried to use the shade Hysterical and it was too chunky and skipped when applying, but worked for topping the middle of the eye with some glittery color. The peach shade Emotional worked well as a crease color. The other darker colors I used as outer V colors and they all applied well and blended well. The warm blush pairs well with all the eyeshadow colors in the palette. I was worried it would be too dark for my light skin, but I applied it lightly with a mixed fiber blush brush and it came out perfect. The highlighter was the only let down for me. It was chunky and didnt apply smoothly and was patchy and barely showed up when applying with a brush. This palette has both cool and warm tones, so I think it would work well for all skin shades. Overall I still think it is a nice and pretty palette as I do like the eyeshadows and the blush.

I finally got to try out this pallette and I love it! I used it to create a soft and professional look for a large work meeting. There are plenty of shades to use and they go on very smooth whether you use your finger tips or an eyeshadow brush. The colors are easy to blend and they stood on my eyelids the whole day. About 10 hours. The palette itself is like that cardboard that's super thick. So the case is sturdy and will withstand some tumbling around your luggage.

The "Bossy Cosmetics Beauty Meets Drive Blush" is good quality, my teenage daughter wears it daily and did not have any complaints about it. It has also not irritated her skin in any way. Thanks!

This palette is meant for sparkle lovers! There's a single square of more matte color, but all the rest are for glam! Very much appreciate the long and detailed ingredients list on the back of this palette (see pictures). So you can do your own research if you have any allergies or vegan concerns. Gifted this to my niece, and she had fun going ham with it, but as for texture, quality, and long-wearing-ness, I couldn't tell ya! Parents made her wash it off before going home lol The sheer intensity of the sparkly WILL limit the types of places one can go to with this make-up on, or perhaps the age range of people it's best fitting for. The box may say "war paint" but I think it's more a "music festival" vibe. Pride Parades, Halloween parties, 80s themed nights at the local bar, that sort of thing. This palette is more like a giant turquoise belt than a little black dress. Not gonna work for everyone, nor even all the time for the people it IS for. But when it's called for? It's nice to have it as an option to take a good look up to great! And of course, if you have very sensitive skin, you definitely will want to read the ingredients list carefully, or try out an intended look a day or two before the event, so you're not scrambling for an anti-histamine spray on the day-of. Your mileage will vary, if a non-reactive base coat beneath these colors will work to keep you itch-free. No one wants red and watery eyes when you're trying to show off your wild side!

As you can see by my photo in this review of the "Beauty Meets Drive" palette, these shadows are highly pigmented, with the except of the black which seemed a little patchy to me, but black seems to be one of those difficult colors. Three of the colors look similar upon a glance, but if you look closely, one is more red, the other slightly pinkish, and the other is a very nice copper color. I appreciate these subtleties, but maybe not everyone else does, so I feel it's important to point them out. I have hooded eyes, but I don't particularly care about the rules of wearing this or that. I've had them since I was a child. I love to put these on the inner half of my eyes, or even all over my lid. The makeup comes off easily and doesn't stain my skin like some eyeshadows do. I couldn't see reaching for this as my everyday, go to makeup palette, so that and the cost alone are why I knocked off one star. But, at the end of the day, you have to decide what is worth 45.00 dollars and what isn't. The makeup is "clean" but I don't really care about that either. What I do care about is that it's vegan and cruelty free. So if you're in either of these camps, you'll be happy to know that nothing had to suffer, be destroyed, or worry about the chemicals entering your skin. Everything is a chemical, but I digress. Overall, it's a pretty and pigmented palette with gorgeous colors, and one that falls in line with my ethics, but it's probably not one that I'm personally going to reach for a lot at my age for everyday use.
