No stretch

This is a very thin fragile thread that breaks easy. It has some stretch, about the length of half a little fingernail then breaks. No good for yarn or an elastic thread .

The only issue I have with this yarn is the color. The spring is great, it doesn't unravel horrendously, and as long as you remember that stretchy yarn does best when ever so slightly loose gauged it is perfect. But, the color. I thought I received the wrong thing at first, since I ordered 114361, a beautiful Navy Blue in the pictures. I wondered aloud if I accidentally ordered a deep green, and my daughter said no I must have ordered black. With the right background, and a good flash angle I included a picture that makes it look almost an Admiral blue, a super deep blue. Without a spotlight on it, though, it is so dark as to look black. Might be a dye lot thing, but it does make me a little sad that the color is so far off since the brand has never been less than five stars for me before!

The yarn itself is soft and the color is exactly as the picture. It is a summer weight yarn with high stretch. It's not difficult to work with stretch yarn, just need to slow down the speed as you would normally do. A trick to share is to crochet together with none-stretch yarn, and the result would come out really nice and beautiful.

I've never had a stretchy yarn like this before! It's so fun. Definity a unique yarn to work with. It's light weight, and the blue color is really pretty. Very soft and nice material.
