This dark green mica powder is lovely. It is such a gorgeous shade of green that gently shimmers and doesnt look tacky like glitter. It does, however, act just like glitter and will get everywhere, even on the container before you open it. Be sure to handle with gloves and to clean up thoroughly after use. Since it is a powder, instead of a dye, you might have some difficulty mixing it into your resin. To prevent the powder from clumping up, I mixed this with a small bit of isopropyl alcohol before adding it to my resin. Otherwise you can stir the mixture a bit longer to make sure all clumps are broken down. You dont need a lot to color your resin. For a small 2 inch figure I used enough to cover just the tip of a small popsicle stick. This is a beautiful mica powder.

The media could not be loaded. I really like this mica powder. It is extremely finely ground and mixes into resin very easily. I got the dark green color and it is beautiful! I have included a video so that hopefully you can see how it shimmers. There is a good amount of powder in the jar and for my smaller projects it should last quite a while. I intend to try some other colors from this brand. They have a gold and a Pearl white that look like they would be equally gorgeous! To help understand how I rate items: My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON'T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as this is a good value but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don't take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product: ***** Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed. **** Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed . *** Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative. ** Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it. * One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.

I love this color, rich looking and sparkly. It's very fine powder that blends well so it's easy to use. It's a good size too so it should last awhile. It's a little on the pricey side but it's good quality

This is a very beautiful, classy color. The mica is such a nice fine grind of powder. The darkest color you can get it to be in bright light is the last photo of it here because this mica is so wonderfully reflective. What I was most impressed with is that when I went to wipe it off my hand, it didnt come off! That means that this is Perfect for putting on your face or body and not being concerned about it coming off halfway through the night. Yet, when I used a little soap, it came off easily which was good. I use this mica mostly for resin epoxy projects and it works great! In this example of the resin epoxy earrings, the first layer contains clear resin mixed with gold flakes and a feather appliqu in a bluish/greenish hue. The last layer contains a thin layer of this mica mixed with epoxy resin that I am shown mixing in the photos. I purposely did not mix the mica very much because I wanted thin and thick areas to create different levels of shine and depth so that is why you see such a variation in hues of green and shine. In the finished photo of the earrings, you cant see as much of the depth of the mica because the blue/green feather applique is covering it. Next time I plan on using a thicker layer of this mica infused resin to create more depth as it is in the mixing photo. Gorgeous mica! Hope these photos fuel your fire for creation! Highly recommend!
