I purchased this 1.5 inch white view binder as it is a size I like to use - not so small that it lacks in needed capacity for paper, but also not so large that it becomes heavier than I care to deal with any longer. I also usually prefer O rings over the more popular D rings, as they fasten onto the binder edge, rather than on the back cover, tending to keep the binder a bit smaller in size overall when a binder is opened fully. I had never heard of this particular brand of binder before, so I wasn't too sure what to expect I was going to see quality wise when delivered. But I was pleasantly surprised, as although the white binder covers came with some cosmetic ripples both inside and out, the clear view cover, and all the mechanical components were in perfect shape and all seemed pretty sturdy. I would consider this binder to be a mid or durable grade quality binder (certainly above an economy binder) that should hold up pretty well to regular use if not stressed by overfilling or stacking a batch of heavy books on top of it. The rings all lined up correctly every time I opened and closed them, so pages should not get caught when turning them. The interior white covering is actually textured, rather than smooth. It gives the binder a different look and feel in those places where the smooth "clear view cover" does not cover over the white portion. .

My wife and I are both public school teachers and can never have enough binders to hold printed books or lesson plays that we need to keep on-hand. I ordered this binder for my wife who is rewriting new lesson plans for a continuing education college course she is taking this summer and this 3in binder works perfectly. The rings open and close as they should and line up together nicely. The shell of the binder is a little too thin and flimsy for my liking, but since this binder will not be opened and closed very many times, it will do good enough. This is the only reason I did not give this item a full 5-star rating.

Very solid three-ring closure. There are some binders that are not very strong with the closure and your papers, when flipping them, will open the binding. Not the case here. This is very strong (may be difficult to open for younger users). The front has a textured feel under the plastic cover (which is on both sides). Great overall binder.

Everything works great. The pocket at the cover seem too tight. It might only fit a few paper.
