The Scissor Skills Sticker Activity Books with Cut and Paste and Reusable Sticker Pad is cute and challenging. The book arrived well-being undamaged in any way. It emitted no weird odors or chemical like smells. This set is super cute and adorable and provides for a pretty challenging activity for kids that are needing to fine tune their cutting skills. The stickers are a bit difficult to remove so I suggest giving support and guidance for children that are doing this activity book. I didn't find the stickers to do well removing and placing multiple times. The corners and edges are small, so a good pair of scissors is required and needed. Know the challenge of the kit but also the sense of accomplishment when achieving and practicing these important skills with this book.

I bought this for my 5 year old to practice "Scissor Skills" as it's labeled but it's more for adults with tiny scissors that can use these! The entire packet is no bigger than your hand and the scenes aren't even big enough to place a doll on. And it's sticker paper.

I picked this thinking it would provide some good scissor skills for my 4 year old niece. Its recommended for 4-7 year olds. Sounds good and I was expecting a coloring book sized set of paper dolls. What I got was a loose leaf set of dolls. Loose leaf isnt a big deal and actually makes cutting easier. These are small. Less than a half sheet of paper in size. The dolls are oddly marked. You can pick from Chinese Style, European Style, or French Style. They all look pretty much the same except for different hairstyles. They all also look like they dont have arms because theyre supposed to have their arms behind their backs I think. Anyway, moving beyond that, The dolls and outfits are more suited for an advanced cutter. Theyre small and have a lot of fine details. Not for a 4 or 5 years old unless you want details cut off. I also noticed theyre stickers?? Umm the description says it includes a reusable sticker pad and they are, in fact, stickers. So why not just make them stickers and do away with the cutting? Also, the sticker pad doesnt seem super reusable. The stickers are pretty adhesive. Theyll come off but the stickers get all curly. Lastly, the design on the stickers seems a tad pointless. The dolls have full heads and hair but then the dresses or headdresses are designed to completely cover their faces and hair. Confusing. Usually a paper dolls clothes works around the head but maybe thats just what I remember. I wouldnt recommend or purchase this for a 4-7 year old. Maybe an older child who has refined fine motor skills and has a lot of patience. Not a horrible set, just a little confusing in its design and intent.

My little one is a year or two older than the typical target audience, but has some fine motor skills delays, so this is great to work on those skills. For the price, this is a good kit, not amazing quality but good enough, and fun was had.

I'm not sure that paper dolls" is the right term for these. Traditional paper dolls are dolls made of paper with clothing that uses tabs to stay on the doll. Children would play with them just as they played with three dimensional dolls. These are super cute dollies with no arms and interchangeable heads. They have multiple costumes, both male and female, and the costumes have arms and hands. The clothing includes traditional Asian and European outfits, from Lederhosen to a winged vampire costume, Renaissance gear, and Victorian schoolgirl looks. The set also includes background scenes and accessories. These are very detailed items, good for scissor practice even for older children. I think perhaps they are intended to be glued down into scenes. They are quite charming. Since they're on separate pages, you can share them out in a. group of kids.
