I purchased the tape dispenser for school, home, and office use, and it has been a reliable tool for everyday tasks. The dispenser is easy to use, with a smooth mechanism that cuts tape cleanly and efficiently. It's lightweight yet sturdy enough to stay in place during use. The design is simple and functional, fitting well on my desk or in my school bag. I'm giving it 4 stars because while it works well with standard tape rolls, I found that it could occasionally slip when dispensing tape quickly. Overall, it's a convenient addition to my workspace and helps streamline my tasks.

This dispenser is awesome! It comes with gel grip/nano tape like grips on the bottom.. simply pull off protective plastic and place it where you want - it sticks and doesn't move around! No need to use one hand to hold the dispenser while the other pulls the tape! Gel grips can easily be removed from surfaces without damage and to reuse just simply rinse with water. It is also weighted if you prefer not to use the gel grips. The cutting mechanism is quite clever - no more accidental cuts or scratches from the typical toothed tape dispensers. AND this one cuts the tape in a nearly straight line. Not only does this look neater, but allows you to pick tape off of things easier without splitting down the middle! The roll of tape if comes with is good quality. I tried it with a name brand and then store brand. Both cut beautifully and easily... my office store brand though was a sliver big for the holder bit so it didn't have the resistance that the others did, but it still cut fine as long as you didn't yank it down in a hurry! Shown in picture is how it cuts.. the more jagged ones at first are the ones I did quickly. Good steady pull is all you need and gives the straightest cut. It is a compact size so it doesn't take up a ton of space like standard more bulky dispensers, yet functions just as well as a larger one - actually better! It's a pretty shade of sky blue. Hope to see more colors out as I'd love to get one to match my other desk accessories!

This tape dispenser does exactly what it says it does. And it does it really well. EASE OF SETUP: Well, the first thing I did was replace the roll of tape it came with. Putting a 3/4" standard tape refill was easy. There are gel pads at the bottom that I didn't realize were there. They are to stop the dispenser from sliding. Although it really wasn't spelled out on the box, you are supposed to remove the plastic film that covers the pads. EASE OF USE: Like a dream. The dispenser is really intuitive. As you push the button in the cutting area, you automatically push down and over and the tape cuts effortlessly. And no scratching your hand or fingers on a cutting edge so I don't think a curious child could hurt themselves. LOOKS: Baby blue or pink? Two of my least favorite colors. I'd prefer grey or black but that's personal opinion. VALUE/OVERALL: Well priced. Well packaged and does what it says it does. And safer than the standard dispenser. My only hesitation, and I almost gave it 4 stars, has to do with weight/sliding. I do not want to remove film on the gel pads to have to dispenser "stick" to my desk potentially leaving residue or marks. I'd rather the dispenser weigh more so it can stay in place itself without gel pads. All tape dispensers are underweighted, so it's not just this one. But that's just me ranting at "the man". Rant over. This dispenser will get good use in my office (light blue color notwithstanding.)

I am VERY impressed with this tape dispenser! What a smart idea! No struggle with the tapes cutter to cut the tape for two reasons: 1) It has gel pads on the bottom to prevent it from moving all around while you try to cut. THANK YOU! 2) The CUTTER is not your typical, "hold it down and tear" kind! Instead they have a slider, but you DO NOT HAVE TO SLIDE IT! It is automatic, you just press down, and it slides itself. Presto your piece of tape is ready to go! Thank you! I am so sick of struggling with tape dispensers that have the tear off kind of cutter! Mostly, because this is next to impossible to use, when trying to get a piece of tape one handed, which is usually the case, as my other hand is holding what I need to tape! This tape dispenser ROCKS!!! I HIGHLY recommend it to ALL CRAFTERS, AND ALL MOMS! (AND DAD'S). It has a safety cap for the cutter, but the cutter is only exposed when you press down on it. Whoever made this really thought about it first! It is super easy to use, stays in one place, and is safe to leave on your desk. I would give it more stars if there were more stars. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS!!!!! OH!!! It also looks very nice. I have to baby blue one. And! The price is perfect!
