I got this for my nephew because he loves to build things, he built it pretty easily and thought it was pretty cool. I thought the solar powered aspect was pretty neat! Great little gift for someone who likes to build and learn how things work!

This car was probably the worst thing Ive ever bought for school, it wasnt required but it was the easiest to do, first of all spending 24 dollars just to receive a barely working product is absolute bull, I had to make this thing go 25 feet for a project and I had to fix it three times within that 25 feet, the motor placement is stupid and it make it so that it has to be placed at a very certain angle to get the gears to rotate. You cant even have the entire thing put all the way down. There are much cheaper cars out there that would work better than this piece of garbage. If I could give less than one I would

My son and I had a lot of fun putting this together. Its pretty simple to assemble and will take about 30 minutes or so to build. The instructions are pretty straightforward, but we did run into a couple of small issues. First, getting the gears to line up required a little trial and error. Second, we accidentally put the wheels on a little too tight so it didnt drive as well as we thought. But once we got those problems sorted out it was off to the races we had a lot of fun just placing it around our driveway and seeing it zoom off. One thing to know though is that the sun doesnt charge a battery or anything, it literally just makes it drive straight, but thats still pretty fun. One other downside is that once its assembled its a little flimsy. My son isnt very gentle with his toys so he kept accidentally popping the solar panel off. I recommend applying a little dab of super glue in a few spots to keep the car secure. Overall, my son and I are fans of this. It led to a lot of teachable moments and he still randomly takes it out to play with in our driveway. Highly recommended.
