The Dark Titan ?Castle Panic Expansion ?Board Game for Adults and Family ?Cooperative Board Game ?Ages 8+ ?for 1 to 6 Players...

Have played with and without Wizard's tower. This one adds a nice amount of extra difficulty and can scale nicely. I think this one will be pretty consistently in my games and add and refine others for taste.

Pretty heavy (in terms of understanding, not literal weight) expansion, lots of new material to learn. It can be cumbersome to work through it, but very fun nonetheless. Make sure you are actually looking for some challenge when you get this. You should probably get the other two expansions first.

A great addition to an already great game. I love the adaptability of the Castle Panic line... yes, it gives you rules, but you can always take out or add monsters to make the game easier or more challenging. They give you a great base game and fun expansions - and you can make it what you want. My son learned and loved the core game at age 5. He hasn't had a problem sitting a playing a whole game, but some younger kids will, as one game can take an hour easily. We have collected all three current expansions and he still loves playing them all. (He's six now.) I love the cooperative aspect; it's a great teamwork and strategy game.

Unfortunately I can't really add much more info than what's been said already, but this is another great addition to Castle Panic. It can be played with or w/o the Wizard's Tower expansion as well. As mentioned, the Agranok boss monster can really smack you around. (8 hit points to take 'em out!) Not only that, he gets by with a little help from his monster friends: the Dark Sorceress, Elite Monsters, and a Boom Troll. Lucky for us, there's this fella called "the Cavalier" who rides in on his steed and dishes out up to 2 hit points to monsters in the same space as him. (Points can be divided however you like.) There are also tokens that are "supply carts" that bring you certain things to help you out. *The Agranok boss monster can be adjusted to a variety of difficulty levels. As always, start off low and see what you're up against...* Also, unfortunately, I'm not the only one who received a package that was pretty hammered. I've just sorted the pieces into a separate bag and put them in the main C.P. box. Makes for a smaller storage and ease of access, but if this were meant as a gift, I'd be pretty miffed. For the 10-12ish bucks that this costs, I'd definitely recommend this if you're a fan of C.P. If you don't have the "Wizard's Tower" expansion, I highly recommend that one as well! Great expansion, but the game box showed up in terrible condition. Outer packaging was all perfect, but the game box itself was smashed and torn. The inside pieces were all fine, but the game box itself was pretty beat up. We were taking it out of the box anyway and putting it into our main Castle Panic box, but still... We usually keep our empty game boxes, but this one just got tossed in the trash. As for the game itself, FUN! This expansion is the perfect addition to Castle Panic, adding in another mega boss as well as friendly forces. If you love the game, this is a definite win!
