My 5 Year Old Loves it!

I was looking for a card game to get for my 5 year old and I'm happy I decided on Fish or Chips! It's a fun game, requires some strategy, and most importantly my daughter likes to play it!!

I gave it to my granddaughters and their response after playing was its awesome

Kids age 6 & 9 played with their parents on a recent trip and they all said it was a lot of fun and easy to learn. Cards are sturdy like a regular deck of cards, so should hold up fairly well.

Great family game!

My son is 6 and just learning about the world of card and board games, so I picked this up for us to play while dinner is cooking or when we have some time to spare. First of all, it is a HOoT! My son and I absolutely love this game and it has been in steady rotation since we got it. My son and I picked this up within 5 minutes. We watched a video and that helped. We do modify the game to placing all of the cards that are supposed to be in your hand face up on the table. Hand management is physically hard at his age, and this also allowed me to help him during our first few games to see his cards and such. If playing with older kids and adults, I definitely wouldnt recommend this modification. Hide your hand!!! We also like that this game is helping with number sequencing. Every time someone plays a card, we say out loud what the card options for the next player. Easy math reinforcement at home. All in all, a great game! Quick game play - about 15 minutes at the most, and the characters and illustrations are super fun for kids!
