I love cooking with recipes but I normally just use a recipe as a guide or idea and then I typically end up modifying recipes to make it more to my tastes. This is exactly what I needed to help organize and keep my own recipe ideas together for quick reference or to write down new recipes as I create them to remember. This is a nice, sturdy and compact little book. I like the little attached bookmark ribbon bc it comes in handy to save a page as I use or work on recipes. I like that it includes a convenient conversion chart that is easy to read and it has a oven temperature conversion chart as well which can come in handy. I like the simple design of the pages and how they are set up to write down recipes in for easy viewing. I really like the feel of the cover as well because it grips my hand nicely and it feels like a silicone or rubber material to touch, I am not sure if it actually is but it feels really good to hold it. I like the size and I can keep it in my bag during the weekday and write down cooking ideas and recipes to add. It has an old fashion style that I like because it feels nostalgic and I can picture my children and grandchildren using the recipes that are in it one day possibly.

I have been wanting a recipe book to put all my tiktok and pinterest recipes into. Of course I can use a regular notebook, but having one like this makes it feel extra special! The texture of the cover is smooth yet weighty. There is a table on content to fill in at the front, and it lays open relatively well when reading the recipe back. I do think the pages could be a little bit thicker... to protect them from possible warping or damage in the kitchen. Overall, it's a great product!

The notebook is actually very nice, with an attractive, textured cover. Binding is well-done, so it seems sturdy and durable. But the inside is where it shines. It offers ample space for recipes and includes standard areas per page, like ingredients, directions, notes, etc. The pages are a peachy color, which goes well with the gray cover I got and makes it stand out. I do like the ribbon marker, but the text on the recipe pages is a bit challenging to read (same as the font at the top of the opening page I pictured), which is my only complaint. However, the conversion pages are very cute and colorful. Still a win, but since the text is so important, I can only give it 4 stars.

My favorite thing is definitely the unit conversions list at the beginning, makes it easy to adjust ingredients at a glance. The fact that the pages are numbered, and there's space in the first few pages to create your own little index makes it very handy and really lets you make it your own. The templates on the pages are thorough; cook time, prep time, servings, ingredients lists, notes, directions, there's a lot of space and freedom to go into detail. I like the built-in bookmark ribbon. The cover feels slightly grippy, almost like a light rubberized coating, so not only has it been splash-resistant, but it doesn't slide around the counter. I'm about halfway through filling it up, once it's done this will definitely be a permanent fixture in my kitchen.

I really wish I could say that this notebook is awesome and great for recording recipes, but it's not. Each recipe has two pages; the first for ingredients, serving sizes, times, cuisine type, and notes, the second for instructions. The instructions page is a full page with no other sections, which is kind of good. The ingredients page is awkward and not well laid out. The section for ingredients is too small for a longer list of ingredients and if you have larger hand writing you won't be able to double up. The bottom half of that page is take up with two sections one for cuisine type and another for notes. To record recipes in this notebook I'll either have to attach another recipe card to the first page, or another sheet of paper. I wanted to be able to use this to work on refining some of my recipes, and to record the ones that my family loves but that's just not going to work out. This is a very disappointing miss for me.
