I originally ordered this for my husband, hes on his feet all day at work so he always has sore feet when he comes home. He loves it, it helps his cramping arches relax within a few minutes of use. He kept talking about how good it felt so I ended hp trying it myself, I can honestly say I dont think hes getting it back! Lol Ill have to order a second one. My only complaint and reason for the 4 stars is that its not as stable as I was hoping it would be. I really like pressure on my heels and when you try to focus on then it can tip over on you pretty easily. I end up having to hold it steady with my other foot. Other than that my husband and I both love it.

First, I like that this is a simple, non-electric product. There are fewer parts to fail. It's just a pair of stubby but solid wooden cylinders over a metal rod all placed in a wooden frame. Although I wouldn't trust my entire weight on the device, I feel secure putting pressure on it. Several of the critical reviews mention this isn't as effective as a massage ball. I didn't pay much attention to this criticism but now that I'm using this device, I agree. The curvature of the ball allows more pressure on trouble spots. I've used my stubby massage balls on back, legs, neck and feet. The trouble is it tends to slide out--especially from feet. This device has stabilizing rubber feet, but I find it still slides about on my foam exercise mat or my office foam floor-squares. This limits how secure I can feel putting pressure on my feet. I'm using this at a standing desk. I suppose if you're sitting while using it you could use both feet to help stabilize the device. But it's not especially effective at a standing desk. I can't, for example, get the sides of my feet or my heel since the device tips over. A work-around might be to stabilize the device with my other foot, but this isn't a comfortable or stable position while standing. For the price, I'll keep the device to use as an exercise motivator at my standing desk. Every 20-minutes or so it's a reminder to move my legs to prevent soreness. But I won't be using it as a therapeutic aid for sore feet. For that, I'll keep using my slippery stubby massage ball.

I'd noticed my feet were a bit sore, cramped, and seemed to be missing some blood-flow. I finally had time to examine the situation, and got a can of corn; put it on the floor and rolled my foot over the can. Great! There were various spots on the bottom of the foot that actually hurt when I did the rolling. But that went away, and I guessed I was dealing with trigger points, stress points, and muscle tightness. So I did more research, and read about the fascia. This fascia thing is what our body is made with. Some people call it connective tissue, others call it collagen. It's a sheath, a body filler and everything else. And we have a lot of it on the bottom of our feet. That fascia gets all kinds of knots, locks, bumps, and whatnot, and all that needs to be massaged out -- loosened. Learning this, I did the can of corn some more and lo and behold, I felt better. I'd been worried about that bit of pain, thinking I had a broken foot I didn't know about. No...just fascia trigger points. You really can't get these out by stretching the foot, wearing different shoes, or doing a typical foot rub. They really need to be rolled out. Just look up some videos on why people use foam rollers. Same problem, larger muscles. But a foam roller is too big for the bottom of your foot. Hence...a foot roller. The corn can slipped all over the place, making it hard on my legs as I tried to both roll my foot and keep the can in place. So, I went to ZeeBooth and found a couple of different foot rollers. When I looked in Walmart, I also found a roller, but on the "wheel" part, it was very smooth. I knew it would slip. Then I looked more at ZeeBooth models. I saw one with a sort of tread on the rolling wheel, and also ran across this product. The Theraflow was the same basic price point, but on the ends there's a base with a non-slip footing. Additionally, the rollers are more "bumpy," designed to get a better, closer and a little deeper massage. I was ready to buy that one. Then, in the "also looked at," I saw the same device, but with two rollers! Combined. With one for each foot, that roll independently, and at mostly the same price. First time using it, I immediately noticed how it didn't slip (on the carpet, by the couch). That made it a lot easier on my thigh muscles. Then I noticed how much of a better effect there was, as opposed to the can of corn. I'd gotten an email note with some tips from the company, when they got the order, suggesting going in opposite directions when using both feet. I did that, and it was perfect! Then I stood up...after about 15 minutes of just having fun, rolling my feet. Holy Cow! Suddenly I could feel my feet, I could feel the floor, I could feel the carpet, and I realized I walk funny! Over the past while, I've learned how to better balance myself on my feet, which also helps reduce knee pain. I sleep better, since my feet don't feel like they're in a pair gloves. And my feet don't get tired from walking through really big stores. All in all, this is a really superb little product, which doesn't cost a lot of money. But you get all the benefits of some expensive massage therapist. I'd wish for the rollers to maybe be another inch in diameter, just to make it a little more comfortable and somewhat easier to roll on. I've compared the size of the rollers to the can of corn, and there's a little bit of difference. It's not that big a difference, and the advantage of the smaller roller might be getting into the fascia, maybe. Whatever the case, I really like this product. I'm tempted to get a second one, just so I can sit on the couch and not worry about keeping my legs close together. After all, exercise should be comfortable, right? Right!

My feet were killing me from some recent spring cleaning that I did foolishly in flip flops. I woke up the next day discovering I could barely walk because my feet hurt so much. So I started looking on google for relief- originally for foot spas or electronic foot massagers. The prices were higher than I expected and most had heat elements which upon other research seemed like the opposite of what I needed. Well, I stumbled upon this product and figured it was cheap enough, why not. I had pretty low expectations, but it is fantastic! It isnt cheaply made and looks quite nice. And it feels great on my feet. I actually put it on my bed with me at night and use it there while I watch tv and relax before bed. And it really does help with the pain. It feels really good on your feet and you can concentrate on certain spots that are achy. Anyway, I dont write many reviews. Usually only if I love something that surprised me and want others to know how great it is too or if something is terrible. If you are on the fence about this, definitely give it a shot! And I havent tried the single roller, but I almost bought that one and am so glad I didnt and bought this one instead. Also, you can even use it on other parts of your body. I just started holding it and using one side for my calves and even my upper shoulders where I hold a ton of tension! Just when I didnt think I could love this thing anymore. Highly recommend!
