I can get sore in my thumb joint and down my tendon, though not bad enough for a diagnosis. I do my best to keep problems at bay with supports like these. This is wonderful for thumb stability AND wrist support. As a plus-size person, sometimes wrist supports go down too far on the forearm and the size I need for the forearm is too loose at my wrist. This support ends right below the wrist so fits perfectly. The two main Velcro straps have attachment all the way around, so the size large would fit just about anyone. The thumb Velcro can be made tight or loosened, depending on your activity. Typing or texting might be hard if its tight, but I was able to crochet with it on. Wonderful design for my needs: very comfortable and secure. Highly recommended!

This brace is so comfortable and supportive. I can wear it all day with no irritation. Its easy to put on and take off. Its a great quality and very helpful.

I have occasional arthritic pain in my right wrist and at the base of my thumb, especially with prolonged computer use or when lifting hand weights. I have another brace which effectively supports my wrist, but it does very little for the thumb pain. The Latent Thumb Brace works very well in keeping both my thumb and wrist supported to avoid the pain that comes with movement and stress. The three velcro strips make it easy to adjust the fit at the thumb, hand, and wrist. The velcro does tend to attract lint and stray pet hairs, so its necessary to keep it clean to ensure it will fasten well. Although I dont have pain in my left hand, I did try it out there. It does not seem to support the left thumb as well, allowing it to move about more.

I have suffered from carpal tunnel for years now. I have a stiff plastic and rubber wrist brace that a doctor gave me. I use it every now and then when my carpal tunnel gets bad. I started looking for a new brace because I wanted something more comfortable. I know its important to wear my brace, but it was just not comfortable at all. I am hoping that if I get something more comfortable, I will wear it more. This is more comfortable than plastic and rubber. It feels more secure to. The other brace was kind of loose. It probably had to be, to keep from chafing. I do not have that problem with this. It is a bit awkward to use it while youre typing on a keyboard. I am wearing it as I write this, so youll have forgiven the typos or misspellings. It is comfortable enough to wear most of the day, if not all day. Time will tell how well this works, but for now, I like it. I will update if that changes.

This is a combination thumb brace and wrist brace. I have both types of braces, and unfortunately you can't wear them at the same time if both your wrist and your thumb aches due to overuse. This combo brace solves that problem. As a wrist brace, it is a tiny bit short. It still does a pretty good job of immobilizing your wrist, however. As a thumb brace, it will brace the base of the thumb but not the joint nearest the tip. However if you need both types of braces, then this is a pretty good compromise to get dual support. It fits on either wrist, which is wonderful. This means you can get 1 brace if you only need to wear the brace intermittently. It also means you don't have to keep up with 2 braces or keep up with which brace fits on each wrist. You can grab your 1 brace and just go.
