The three compartments allow for carrying different types of medications without the risk of contamination between the types. This was a major concern with one of my medications - nitroglycerine. This product was the best compromise between width and length. The width is narrow enough to fit easily in my pocket, but does limit the size of pill you can carry. Several small pills can fit in one compartment. As an example, I can fit 1 Tylenol pill, 1 Sudafed pill and 1 Benadryl pill, in one compartment. The titanium used to construct the container is supposed to be non-reactive with medications and the O-rings do offer a degree of waterproofness (? word) to the product - yes. I tested it. Overall, a good product, with a design that allows you to switch between one, two or three compartments, depending on your needs.

Unfortunately, not all pills can fit in. I'm not talking about huge vitamin pills, I'm referring to standard round everyday pills. Too bad I couldn't use this product for all of my daily pills, which makes it useless for me if it's not going to contain all of my daily pills (it just needed 2-3mm larger space).

I got the longest version. The make is great, the seal is water tight, it looks nice, and it fits well with my keys. I just can't fit my widest pill in it, which I should have double checked before ordering. Oops. Gonna use it for holding a glasses repair kit instead, so I still count it as a win! tldr: Don't be a dummy like me! Measure the width of the stuff you wanna store in it before you order it!
